Chapter 4: Him

Flashback

The five-year-old you, was watching the T.V. with great interest.

The T.V. screen displayed the beautiful couple which was going to get married in the end of this romantic movie you were watching.

"I will miss you dad," the bride said to her dad who was looking like a gentleman in the tuxedo.

Her dad gave her a smile, the smile growing wider when he realised how beautiful his daughter seemed in the beautiful white dress.

The bride, with tears visible in her eyes tangled her hands with her dad and they both started moving towards the aisle where her bridegroom was standing.

The handsome man's smile became wider at the glance of his bride.

The bride finally reached to the aisle and whispered to her dad, "Make sure to always visit me, Okay?" Her dad nodded, tears got the best of him, making unable to speak. He was afraid that if he spoke something he would breakdown in cries.

The whole scene seemed fascinating to you. You couldn't help but imagine the day when you were gonna be in the bride's spot. You have always heard from the movie that every girl has to marry someone and leave her house.

The bridegroom hold his bride's hand making it comfortable for her to climb the stairs to the aisle.

They both looked at each other and smiled.

"I, Miss______, take the oath that I will never leave my husband's side. He will be the only man I will give my heart and soul to. I will protect him from every bad situation."

"I, Mister______, take the oath that I will never leave my wife's side. She will be the only woman I will ever give my heart and soul to. I will protect her from every bad situation."

They both took the oath, the smiles on their face glowing bright with very word.

"You may kiss now," the priest said finishing their ritual.

The bridegroom caressed his wife's face, a soft smile lingering on his face, "I promise to give you all the possible love in the world..." He said before leaning forward to kiss his wife with all the possible love in the world.

"All the possible love?" You repeated, thinking that how heavenly it would be to have a husband too beautiful like the one on the T.V. screen.

You happily, went to your mother who was working in the kitchen, "Mommy!" You said happily gaining all her sweet attention towards you.

"Hey my sweetheart! What you want?" Your mother sweetly said to you, feeling happy to have such a sweet daughter by her side.

"I want to get married!" You said cheerfully making a mindset in your mind that your mom would make that wish of yours true.

Your mom's smiling lips turned into a thin line. She didn't expect for this little child to wish something like that.

Dark thoughts filled her mind. She was able to not think about the curse you had got because of your cheerful self but now that you mentioned it on your own, she doesn't know what to say.

Your mother looked at you, you who were smiling widely at the thought of marrying. She doesn't want to give you false hope but she doesn't want to let you down.

"Y/n, my child," your mother tried to smile, "You know that your dad and I love you so much right?" She asked caressing your cheek softly. You nodded cutely.
