Clashing together in every aspect, these two could argue over everything. ​While attempting to create a controlled black hole, Alanna and Jasper miscalculate their dimensions. As a consequence, they both partially absorb the parts of the singularity, taking the characteristics of space and time. ​Together, Alanna and Jasper become Nebula and Paradox; the Cosmic Duo. A philosophical story which was written to be questioned, posing an alternative view of existence, one which differs from that of most scientific and theological ideologies, you've just got to have a point of view. It's not rocket science, it's the output of an overactive ageing mind and is not intended as a legitimate challenge to any existing doctrine, but as a means of freeing us, from the concepts of retribution and redemption and heaven or hell. It does this by creating an argument that it is the residence of the soul, the biological organism (a biological machine) which is flawed. This, in turn, suggests that the survival instinct is such a flaw and that it is principally responsible for the actions of the organism, not the soul. This hypothesis then leads to the question, why should the soul be subject to retribution and redemption?
