James's P.O.V
"Will you marry me?" I ask.
"No!" she says.
"Why not?" I pout.
"I don't love you. I never have. You are nothing to me." She says harshly to me as I feel a tear stinging down my cheek.
I close the box and start to walk away. By that point I'm bawling and the words "nothing to me" ring in my head.
I wake up in a sweaty panic. Did that really just happen? no. It was only a dream. Thank god...
Today's the big day. I have it all planned out, I can't wait! I'm gonna cook her dinner and I'm gonna have Carrie there too. She's gonna love that, and then I'm gonna propose after the dinner. And I don't know why I'm so nervous. I mean, it's Alex and I love her, and she loves me.
Everything is going to be perfect. Right?
