5. A GİFT AND A BLESSING

The night of a full moon. The day Baekhyun dreads the most.

If being bullied in human form was bad enough imagined being bullied in wolf form.

It involves a lot of biting and claws and isn't pretty at all.

Baekhyun has almost been ripped apart even by the alpha at times like this and so he has learnt to stay clear of the pack.

It was dangerous considering that he could bump into a rogue wolf which will not hesitate to kill him but even if he was small and weak it was a risk he was willing to take.

Baekhyun always made sure he hide his scent somehow and stayed clear of the route the pack used on nights like this.

He would catch himself a little rabbit, since he was not considered a member of the pack, he wasn't allowed to feast with them on their great full moon hunt.

It wasn't much but more than what he got on a normal day which he was grateful for.

As soon as he was done eating he headed to a nearby stream to wash himself. As soon as he was done he settled by a large tree just to get some rest.

He was still hungry but there wasn't much he could do. He wasn't a great hunter.

Just when he was about to fall asleep, he heart rustling in the bushes.

He wanted to run away but realized too late he was surrounded by a pack of wolves.

The little omega shivered in fear for his life as he whimpered in defeat.

A big black alpha wolf approached him and Baekhyun lay on the ground with his head down as he felt the power released by the alpha was too much for him.

He thought this was the end and the last image to flash in his mind was the handsome face of his mate.

He regret for rejecting his mate and treating him the way he did.

He wished he could have handled things differently.

He waited for the wolves to strike but nothing happened.

He opened his eyes only to see fresh meat in front of him.

He looked up and at that moment the black wolf pushed the meat towards him.

Baekhyun wasn't sure if he was imagining things or this was all a trap to lure him in before they killed him.

The big black alpha wolf pushed the meat forward one more time before turning back to his pack.

After howling once, he and his pack were nowhere in sight as they left in a rush.

This was all strange because this strange pack was kind to Baekhyun and didn't kill or harm him in any way.

Baekhyun couldn't help but smile when he moved closer and sniffed the large steak they had left him.

He looked around one more time just to be sure he was surely alone before digging into the gift they had left him.

The little omega happily ate and was unaware of the eyes that watched him in the shadows.

'Why did we have to leave?' the beta mind linked his alpha as they watched the little omega.

'Because he was too scared to even move and that wasn't part of the plan' the alpha responded with a frown.

He didn't like how the little omega shivered in fear as if they would have ripped him apart.

He knew the moonlight pack didn't have the best people in it, but he couldn't believe that they would abuse an omega so much that they would exclude him from the full moon feast.

'Chen was right. He is absolutely gorgeous. I wonder what he looks like in human form' the alpha said as he admired the pure white omega.

'Chen also said there wasn't much time left. Why don't you claim him now before his pack mates make a move' the beta suggests.

'I don't plan on forcing him or scaring him away. I'm going to show him I'm not like his pack mates and I'm exactly what he needs' the alpha said.

'I will let myself known to him soon' the alpha said before they ran back to their pack.

Baekhyun had a good rest that night but as soon as he realized the sun had already risen he jumped in fear.

He was supposed to have returned to the pack house and cooked breakfast by now as well as cleaned the house.

As soon as he got to the house he found the alpha and a few other wolves waiting for him by the front door.

"Look who decided to show up?" the alpha said and Baekhyun noticed the smirk Daehyun was giving him and he knew he was in big trouble.

"Im sorry i..." Baekhyun said as soon as he shifted but he was immediately cut off.

"WHO SAID YOU COULD SPEAK YOU FILTHY RUNT?!!"The alphas voice boomed across the yard, causing more wolves to come to the scene and watch the show.

Baekhyun went silent as he got on his knees and bared in neck in submission.

He wanted to cry but held back his tears because he couldn't give them the satisfaction of his tears.

"I see that we have been too lenient on you. You need to be reminded of your position in this pack once again," he said and Baekhyun knew what this meant and couldn't help the tears that ran down his face.

"Please I'm..."

"SHUT UP! Just be glad I'm only going to punish you and not kill you, you useless runt," the alpha said and soon two warrior wolves had carried the omega and tied him to a tree and ripped his clothes off. His backside exposed to everyone.

"You deserve to be treated like scum you worthless dog," the alpha whispered in his ear.

"Dad, please..." the omega whimpered but only felt the ropes of a whip dig into his back causing him to scream in agony.

"You're no son of mine, only a murderer who killed my mate and Luna." The alpha growled before continuing his inhuman assault on the small omega in front of the whole pack.
