Its been 2 week since I went on the date, and Cole and I were currently dating. I tried to ignore Tyler as much as possible. We tried to stay out of each others way, and we only had small talk once a while.

To be honest no complication thing, I had going on with Cole, was so refreshing. With Alex It wasn't meant to be. We just didn't match with each other. I was emotional and kept to myself, while he's the school player, And one of the most popular guy in the school.

I haven't seen any girls over in Alex's room in forever, and I can't seem to put my finger around it. For some reason the idea of that happening bothered me.

Alex just seemed...off in general. Like something happened.

Me and Zayn had plans to meet at 'The hideout'. Our favorite cafe shop.He said there was an important subject he wanted to talk to me. As I was on my way I bumped into Alex. "Sorry," I said looking down. I could feel his hand caressing my face, so I looked up.

There was Alex staring at me intently. Suddenly my throat became dry, and it seemed I forgot to breathe. Suddenly I snapped out of it, remembering he couldn't do that to me. "Um excuse me, I have to go." I shoved my way past him.

"Raven!" He called out to me, and I turned around. "I hope he makes you happy." I gulped with a nod. "He does, very much."

"Good."

With that I walked out. It seemed they forgot they were also best friends before I came along.

I ordered a cappuccino and sent across from Zayn, with a serious expression I've never seen on him. He was always bubbling with his stupid humor.

"So what did you have to tell me about? It must be important if you called me over for the first time in ever." I took a sip of my drink and waited for his reply.

"Its about Alex."

I almost chocked on the steamy coffee. "You've noticed too?" I suddenly seemed interest in the topic. I wanted to know what the hell was going on. "Raven...I can tell its because of you-" I cut him off. "Me?! how can I possibly be the cost of this?"

"Are you all girls blind or just you?" I glared at his response. "I don't know what you're talking about." I crossed my arms refusing to believe what he was letting on.

"Dont tell me you haven't noticed ever since you, he hasn't laid eyes on anyone else."

Silent. He had a point.

"Raven, I need you to tell me what happened to you guys." He pleaded. I frowned. "I need to know if I'm right, and you're the cost of it." He convinced me enough. "We- we, we kissed goddammit."

"Called it!" he immediately snapped his fingers as if he was the most brilliant person ever. "But he was clear he thought of me as a friend."

"Because he thought thats what you wanted dimwit! He's been off his play game recently. And doesn't like talking about your relationship with Cole." "So what are you saying?" I snapped wanting to get to the pint of this.

I finally managed to get my dream boyfriend. To have a stabilized relationship. "They chemistry is real between you. Its so obvious you two like each other. The way he looks at you..."

"What are you implying I do? Have you forgotten I have a boyfriend, who also by the way, is your best friend, just checking." I asked.

"Exactly. Which is why I dont want him to get hurt. You're just using him to shove it in Alex's face, you've moved on. He's your rebound, your distraction. Until the one you want mans up to admit his feelings. You know it, Alex knows it, I know it, heck even Cole knows it," he explained.

I stayed silent with a look of hurt on my face because what he was saying was true. "Time for the both of you to man up and admit your feelings with each other." I wasn't ready to let go of the grip I had on Cole

"Since when did you get so smart?" I joked catching a smile with his eyes rolled. "You know its the right thing to do." He was right. I needed to stop before I shattered Cole's heart, which it seemed I already had done.

"Thanks Zayn, for hitting me with realization. I hope you find someone who deserves you one day." I heard him clear his throat when I said that, as if hiding something.

I got up from my chair after asking the barista for a to go cup, and went on my mission. "You go girl!" I heard Zayn call out to me on my way. My sigh vanished the smile on my face from Zayn. I was nervous but ready.

"Hey Cole I need to talk to you." I spoke into the phone hearing his response asking whats wrong.

"Where can we meet up, its urgent."
