i hope y'all remember when i said this is the best chapter lol

"what is it?" kenzie groaned, walking over to the guy who was patiently standing there.

"stop with the angry face, you'll love this." johnny replied and turned around to lead the way.

"no i'm not gonna love it." she crossed her arms over her chest.

"i know why you're mad." johnny whispered but continued to walk.

kenzie stayed silent and followed behind him.
" saw me holding her hand." johnny whispered once again.

"holding who's hand?" kenzie acted like she didn't know.

"you don't have to be jealous, she's just a friend." johnny giggled a bit.

"that's cool. you two seem like you like each other. date, i'll be the godmother." kenzie secretly furrowed her eyebrows.

"no, i don't like her. i like someone else, that's dumb." johnny rolled his eyes.

"who do you like then?" kenzie asked and looked down at the ground.

"not telling." johnny cheekily grinned, although kenzie couldn't see.

"john, we've known each other for months now, tell me!" kenzie responded and looked back up at the boy's back.

"no." was all that johnny said before he started speedwalking.

"hey! slow down!" kenzie tried to catch up.

"bro, i don't know what to do!" hayden complained.

"i like this girl more then kenzie." hayden whispered.

"you got it bad, man." carson shook his head in disappointment.

"i think you should go with this girl, kenzie seems like she likes johnny." joey said and crunched his chips.

"yeah, because they're internet best friends. johnny and kenzie have been talking since—i don't even know but this is their first time seeing each other in person." hayden responded and put his phone in his pocket.

"that explains why johnny might like kenzie, but she's dating you!" joey pointed at hayden.

johnny walked inside the cabin, his hair was messy, some mud on his legs and a big grin on his face.

"what happened to you?" carson looked johnny up and down and laughed a bit.

"a lot. a lot of fun things, actually." johnny laughed.

"uh john, we need you to sit down. we're gonna have a talk." johnny's mood suddenly went down.

"okay, let me clean up."

EARLIER..

"what are we doing john?" kenzie asked for the millionth time.

"quiet." johnny pressed a finger on kenzie's lips.

"okay, you're messing with me." she pushed his hand away.

"you'll scare them away." johnny showed a worried face.

"them?" kenzie repeated what he said.

johnny held his hand out for kenzie to hold.
"you might get scared." johnny chuckled.

kenzie held onto his hand, squeezing it a bit.

johnny slowly opened a wooden door.

"wow.." kenzie was so surprised to see so many beautiful butterflies.

"how'd you find this? i've never, ever seen this place before." kenzie smiled brightly.

the butterflies flew around the two.

"john, we're gonna miss the activity." kenzie told the green eyed guy who was looking at a green and yellow butterfly.

"this is cooler anyways." johnny chuckled.

suddenly, it started to rain.

"fuck! the path is gonna be muddy." kenzie complained.

"this rain is definitely stopping our activity for today." johnny smiled, pointing his finger so a butterfly could get on.

"john, we seriously need to go." kenzie pushed.

"no, i wanted to show you this place. please stay with me." johnny turned towards her.

"john, we have to go." kenzie gave him a worried face.

johnny grabbed onto her shoulders.

"we can leave, but-"

kenzie watched him lean in, putting his lips on hers.

i have a boyfriend!

kenzie didn't fight it, she kissed back. wrapping her arms around his thin, long neck.

johnny had his hands wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer.

the rain poured on them, but they didn't care, all that mattered was what was happening.

pulling away kenzie immediately turned pink.

"thanks for the kiss." johnny winked.
