Alcohol Consumption, Sexual Harassment, Angst.

Y/N's POV

I took a shot of vodka and slammed the shot glass onto the bar top. A stern glance from the bartender warned me from doing it again, and I just nodded before looking away.

It had been two months since I had broken up with Bucky, and almost every single night, I found myself in this club drinking away my sorrows.

Sorrows that couldn't seem to be erased by anything other than Bucky himself, or his substitute: too much alcohol.

There hadn't been any other men. Sure, several tried to persuade me to come into their beds with free drinks or even money, but I had shot them all down. That was my one rule, to never fuck someone in a club or while I was drunk. But one night, things took a drastic change.

Bucky was here.

As much as I hated to admit it, he looked absolutely handsome, especially in his neat blazer and white button down shirt. A smile almost pulled at my lips when my eyes flickered to his face. His startling blue eyes were crinkled at the corners with a lightness I had seen at the beginning of our relationship, full of laughter and happiness. His face was clean shaven, and he looked simply stunning.

But my admiration quickly died the moment I saw who was with him.

A skinny blonde with a rather busty chest almost popping out of her short, tight black cocktail dress stood by his side, her arm sliding through his.

I looked nothing like her. I was wearing one of the few dresses I owned, a simple blue one that didn't cling to my body as much as hers did. My hair was in a tight bun, and I had just ignored make up entirely. I didn't even come close to her.

It felt like my heart was breaking all over again. Of course he was happy. He had found someone else. He was not like me, trying to kill my pain by downing alcohol every night, and assuring myself that the hangovers in the morning were worth it. He didn't cry every night, wishing things had been different.

He had moved on.

I felt my eyes start to water, and a moment later, Bucky's eyes flickered to mine. I looked away quickly, and asked the bartender for another shot. I held the glass in my hand as I watched the two walk past me in my peripheral vision.

"I guess the dress code is pretty loose here." Her voice was high pitched, and I clenched my jaw as I could feel her looking me up and down.

Bucky didn't say anything, but walked her away from where I was sitting.

I took the shot in my hand, and gave the bartender a twenty out of my bag. But before the money hit his hand, a hand grabbed my wrist.

"I'll pay for the lovely lady." I turned to see a man in his late twenties smiling at me. He wasn't the most attractive man I had ever seen, not compared to Bucky, but with my mind clouded with alcohol and my heart almost destroyed with grief, my standards were pretty low. I decided to fuck my own rules and have a little fun.

"How kind of you." I smile, and wink playfully as he moved over a seat to sit next to me. "I really appreciate it."

"I know. I've seen you here the past few days. You like to drink quite a bit." He chuckled. "I'm Ryan."

"I'm Y/N." I stuck my hand out to shake his, but he took it in his hand and pulled it up to kiss it. I turned and saw Bucky looking my way. I turned my attention back to Ryan.

"You know... maybe we can make a deal. One dance per drink?" He smirked and took a sip out of his cup of beer.

"I can agree to that." The DJ turns up the music, and more people moved tot he dance floor. "Let's go." I grabbed his hand and pulled him out to the dance floor. One song finished, and Ryan went back to the bar for another shot. Another one passed, another shot. This went on for awhile, and he was very respectful, dancing close but not in a way that was out of line.

Five shots in, however, it was another story.

He came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist, and nuzzled his nose against my neck. I froze as his lips moved up to my ear. "Wanna get out of here, sweetheart?"

I closed my eyes as he kissed my neck, imagining that it was Bucky instead. "S-Sure."

In my drunken stupor, Ryan led me out of the club and to the back alley way, where no one was. I had swore I had seen Bucky calling my name inside, but I shook my head. I was drunk. He didn't want me anymore.

Ryan pushed me up against the wall, and immediately kissed me hard. His lips tasted like alcohol, but I didn't care. I just wanted to feel something. I tried my hardest to visualize who I actually wanted, but it didn't work. I didn't have him.

One of his hands moved to go under my skirt, and I froze. "W-Wait."

"Wait for what, sweetheart? I thought you wanted me." His hand moved higher, brushing against my thighs.

"I don't want this." I whimpered, trying to push away, but his other arm caged me in against the wall.

"You owe me." His hand moved to brush my underwear, and I squirmed hard in his grip.

"Get off!" I cried out, and tried to shove him off. His eyes darkened and his hand moved to my throat.

"Shut up!"

"Get off of her!" Ryan was ripped off of me, and I fell onto my knees, gasping as I watched through blurry eyes as my savior threw my attacker onto the ground. As I rubbed my eyes, I realized that it was Bucky. He continuously punched him in the face, and kept him on the ground. He grabbed Ryan by the collar and pulled him closer to his face. "Do not touch her again. Do not talk to her again. Do not even look at her again! Am I fucking clear?"

"Y-Yes." He gasped, and Bucky let him go. I watched as he ran out of sight, and I sat there watching as Bucky turned around. His eyes softened as he walked towards me slowly.

"Doll?"

My breathing grew heavier as he grew closer. "Please..."

His eyes darkened with sadness as he looked at me. "I'm not going to hurt you, doll. I promise. I just want to help you home."

"Where's your girlfriend?" I scoffed. "Is she pulling the car around?"

"She's not my girlfriend. We can talk about this in the morning. Can I just please help you get to my apartment?" His eyes were pleading.

"Fine." I sighed wearily, and stood up slowly. He came to my side, and lead me carefully back to his car. We drove in silence, as I leaned my head against the cool window of the car. I felt disgusting.

We reached the apartment ten minutes later, and he led me inside.

"Couch?" I asked, before sitting down on it.

"No. You can take the bed. I'll have the couch." He gently pulled me up by my hand. I was too tired to argue, and followed him back. "I have a shirt you can wear."

"Okay." I changed, and climbed into bed. Before Bucky turned off the light and left, I grabbed his flesh hand and stopped him. "Why did you save me?"

"No one deserves to be treated like that, but especially not you. Not the woman I fell in love with." His eyes were soft. "Sleep well, Y/N. I'll see you in the morning."

"Mm." I watched him shut the door behind him, before I closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

A/N: Hey! First post since I came back! There will be a part two for this, I promise. I hope you liked it!
