(Derek's point of view)
"Papa?" I heard River say as he shook me awake, I sat up a bit careful not to wake up
"Baby what's wrong?" I picked him up
"I had a very bad dream I am really scared now" He cried more
"Oh baby I'm sorry, do you want to sleep with Daddy and I?"
"Yes please" He said wiping his nose with his sleeve. I handed him a tissue and used that instead. I lifted up the blanket for him to get in. He smiled as I lied on my back with my arm out. He rested his head on my shoulder facing Stiles and I put that arm around his very tiny body,
"Good night sweetheart" I kissed his head as he said goodnight back and feel asleep. I grabbed my phone on the bedside table unable to go back to sleep and put my headphones in playing some light music
I slowly open my eyes when I felt something playing with my hair, I know longer had my headphones in. I rub my eyes to see Stiles with a sleeping River on him as he played with my hair
"Hi" I whispered, rolling over to face him completely
"Good morning" He kissed "When did he come in?"
"About 3 he was crying he said he had a bad dream"
"Oh okay" He said kissing River "I am going to put River back in a minute"
"Okay"
He comes back a moment later and crawls back into bed with me again and cuddles into me
"Have a ever told you that you are the best father in the world" He said lying on his stomach putting his head in his palms
"Yes every time I do something with River" I laugh a little put my hand under my head. He laughed a little
"Well it's true" He smiled kissing him
I grab his face a little and kiss him a little deeper
We got up about 20 minutes later and got ready for the day when River come outs rubbing his eyes still in his PJ'S.
"Good morning honey" I said picking him up both of us giving him a kiss
"Morning" He said yawning
"We are going to the shops soon than do you want to go to go and see grandpa and grandma (Derek's parents are alive in this one)"
"Yeah" He said suddenly awake
"Someone is excited" Stiles laughs
