-chapter twenty five
it came as no surprise that we didn't wake extremely early, but it wasn't midday, so it wasn't awful. it was a groggy start. my legs and arms hurt from how folded i was on the sofa. it was surpringly small looking at it now. a bad idea for sure.
for our last remaining time here we took a stroll on the beach together, brining snacks. it didn't take long till we decided walking was far less enjoyable thank simply sitting
it was such bliss. the soft breeze brushed against my face sending shivers down my spine. the sun was shining yet not too strongly and the sand felt so soft under my feet. I looked down at my hand, which was intertwined with adriens ever so gently.
gosh, how did i end up here?
there were barely days left here on vacation, yet i wasn't dreading going back to school as much as i did before. now i had something to look forward to, sending time with the only person able to make my heart do somersaults and my mind go blank. the only person that ever made me feel such horrible knots, and folds in my stomach yet still make me feel so lucky.
so special. it was a feeling you cant describe so easily. knowing you're loved; knowing love.
