Blood Isn't The Only Thing That's Red

"I still don't get why you have to dye your hair," Frank repeated as we stepped into the professional salon. We sat down on the waiting couch and waited until we were attended to.

"The doctor said that because I've been under shade for over a month that my body wasn't getting enough vitamin D and that I need to dye my hair a lighter shade so that the sun rays can penetrate my scalp better," I explained simply.
Frank had a sly look on his face, "Oh?" He asked simply, innocently, his fingers brushing softly over my clothed knee. He leaned closer and whispered in my ear, "I thought you were getting enough D last night," his hand hovered above my crotch and I sucked in a breath, my face turning red.

"Frank," I warned but I ended up blushing harder. We have been more 'intimate' since I left the hospital two weeks ago and every second with him felt amazing. The only downside is that we couldn't tell anybody at school because I would get demoted and I couldn't tell my parents because they'd pull me out of prep school and make me a priest earlier than they intended.

So it was our little secret. It was better that way.

"Not here," I half whispered as I gently brushed his hand away. He gave me a sad smile then and I literally felt my heart drop. "Okay," he replied simply. "But later, you're mine," I couldn't help but giggle at that.
'Don't you mean you're mine? This guy couldn't top for his life. I thought to myself with another laugh.

Soon, a tall brunette approached us and we both stood up in unison. I recognized her instantly and gave her a warm hug after practically squealing like a girl.

Kristin Colby, the number one hairstylist in the whole of New Jersey. My mother and her were high school friends and so we got our haircuts at her salon for free.

"Hey Gee, what's up?" Kristin said as soon as we disembraced. "I'm good Kris, it's been a long time since we talked girl," I gushed, forgetting myself for a moment.

"Um, Gerard, your gay is showing." Frank spoke up and Kristin re-directed her gaze at him, a mischievous smile on her face.
"Oh, who's this cute little fellah?" She asked. I held Frank's hand then, "Back off Kris, he's mine," I said playfully and we all ended up laughing before Frank properly introduced himself.

"I'm Frank, Gerard's boyfriend," Frank said, not having to lie about it this time like in the hospital. It felt even better hearing it from him.

"Ohmygodgerardhasaboyfriend--" Kristin said in one breath and I rolled my eyes, trying to hide the obvious blush on my face. She was so dramatic at times, but that was one of the things that I loved about her. She was very free spirited and bubbly and always asked about us, especially Mikey.

"Can we please go over why we're here?" I interrupted the giggling pair.
Kristin cleared her throat "Sure, of course, I'm just messing with ya Gee,"She said before she ushered us to two swivel chairs in front of a large light up mirror.

"So what brings you two down here this lovely Saturday morning?" She asked as soon as we sat down.
"I want to dye my hair," I said, running a hand through my long, greasy black hair. Kristin actually 'ooed' and I couldn't help but smile.

"And what about your friend here?" She asked Frank, who was actually looking at a hairstyle catalogue. He looked up at us and shrugged, pointing to a certain picture.

The guy had a Mohawk with bleached blonde sides. I imagined Frank with that hair style and I literally felt myself twitch.

"Ooh, I like that style, what do you think G?" Kristin asked me and I came out of my short day dream.
"Oh yeah, I definitely approve," I agreed eagerly, stopping myself before I actually purred 'Frankie'.
