"She's hasn't shown up for her shift, go take her place." the boss said, sending me out to host.
My thoughts consumed me as I wondered why she hasn't shown up and what has happened to her. She's so dedicated to her job, she would never just decide to not show up.
"This is very strange. I'm scared for her." Mikala commented when I walked up to her.
"I guess she's disappeared from the face of the Earth. Her parents can't find her," I say thinking about the conversation I had with them.
"I hope she's okay," Mikala said quietly as a tear shed.
I gulped, rubbing the back of my neck. This wasn't the responsible Ella we knew.
