I thought long and hard about everything. I had barely gotten any sleep over it. Monet stayed the night to help me with the baby.
"Jai"Mo's voice spoke, gently rubbing my arm. I sat up. She held Jamir. She handed him to me, he was asleep. "I just changed him" She informed. I nodded, accepting it.
"Hey, can you help me with something?"I asked her, rubbing my eyes.
"Sure, wassup"-
"I want you to help me get in contact with Antoine"I spoke. She looked surprised.
"Okay"She agreed.
"But my Mom can't know anything about it"-
"No worries"She assured me.
"But you gotta talk to YB"-
"For what? He stomped his lil spoiled ass off when he told me he was moving"-
"Jaila"-
"Monet"-
"I'm calling him"-
"No!"-I felt my phone vibrating. I looked down to see, Kentrell calling me.
"Hello"-
"Aye, I'm ona way t'come get you, be ready"He spoke.
"Okay"I said softly.
Minutes later, YB pulled up.
I grabbed my phone and went and got into the car.
The car ride was mostly silent.
"Where are we going?"I asked. He hesitated before answering.
"Where ever you want"He replied.
"What did you pick me up for?"-
"Cuz I wanted t'talk t'you"- He sighed. "Look, I'm sorry I left the other day. But Ian like what you was saying. I'm in'es rap shit, and I'm doin good. But I can't do it without y'all. My people want me to move out to L.A they said it'll help get me out there. But I want y'all too"-
"I wanna go, Trell. I've thought a lot about it, Being with you, together, as a family. But I don't know how that will go with my Mom and Justin. I mean, we agreed to co-parent"-
"Ion like'at tho. Yeah, ima be in my son's life, but I wanna be in yours too. More than just yo' baby daddy"- I looked at him curiously. "I wanna be wit you Jaila. I mean'at. Ima do right by you and 'Mir regardless. What I got y'all got. Period. But I gotta know it's on lock"- My mind was racing. I wanted so badly to make a decision right then...But there was honestly no way.
What's going to happen? Will Jaila and her son move to L.A? Or will circumstances get in the way?
