Dear Diary,
Today was nothing different from the norm. I made plates with Nat, I spoke to a few doctors, went out to dinner with my family, I think you get the gist. So I am going to tell you an Indian motivational story. Here it is:
My grandfather likes to send this mail to all of his employees, and it touches them deeply and inspires them for the better. And today I am spreading his message to the entire world.
One day all the employees reached the office and they saw a big advice on the door on which it was written:
Yesterday the person who has been hindering your growth in this company passed away. We invite you to join the funeral in the room that has been prepared in the gym.
In the beginning, they all got sad for the death of one of their colleagues, but after a while they started getting curious to know who was that man who hindered the growth of his colleagues and the company itself.
The excitement in the gym was such that security agents were ordered to control the crowd within the room. The more people reached the coffin, the more the excitement heated up.
Everyone thought: -Who is this guy who was hindering my progress? Well, at least he died!
One by one the thrilled employees got closer to the coffin, and when they looked inside it they suddenly became speechless. They stood nearby the coffin, shocked and in silence, as if someone had touched the deepest part of their soul. There was a mirror inside the coffin: everyone who looked inside it could see himself.
There was also a sign next to the mirror that said:
There is only one person who is capable to set limits to your growth: IT IS YOU. You are the only person who can revolutionize your life. You are the only person who can influence your happiness, your realization and your success. You are the only person who can help yourself.
Your life does not change when your boss changes, when your friends change, when your parents change, when your partner changes, when your company changes. Your life changes when YOU change, when you go beyond your limiting beliefs, when you realize that you are the only one responsible for your life.
The most important relationship you can have is the one you have with yourself.
Examine yourself, watch yourself. Don’t be afraid of difficulties, impossibilities and losses: be a winner, build yourself and your reality.
The world is like a mirror: it gives back to anyone the reflection of the thoughts in which one has strongly believed. The world and your reality are like mirrors lying in a coffin, which show to any individual the death of his divine capability to imagine and create his happiness and his success.
It’s the way you face Life that makes the difference!
If an egg is broken from outside force… life ends. If an egg is broken from inside force… life begins. Great things always begin from our inside.
You are the egg. Break through your shell and let the life begin. Be the person that you want to be. Don't sit around and lie on your butt all day, take another step towards where you want to be. Make people look up to you.
I quite enjoyed this story, I found it moving. Of course, when you’re dying what else can you think of an Indian motivational story?
Tomorrow's Friday, I used to be so excited for Friday because it was the end of the school week. Today I am, once again, excited for Friday. I am going on a date with Alex. I don't know where he's taking me, don't know what where doing. He has planned a 'magical' evening, so he tells me. I am very much looking forward to it.
I don't think I have told you this, but it's my birthday on Monday. Unfortunately, I don't think I am doing much. Just hanging out with my whole, extended family and the gang. I don't want much, very little actually, just knowing I will see everyone is more than enough.
I found out today that Nat's birthday is the 16th of June, if her expectant date of death is correct, she'll die one day after her birthday. And if is incorrect and she dies before then, she might not even live to see it.
I have to go take my medicine, sorry to leave on such a disappointing note. I will write back to you in about an hour. I'm sorry I forgot today's positive thing.

Sorry for such precision on the time. Today's positive thing. Let's see. It shouldn't be these hard, great things happen all the time, maybe that's what it could be. I had such a great day today, that I cannot think of one thing positive, it had to be a hundred or two hundred and fifty.
I really need to get some sleep. Sorry to leave on such a brief note.
I'll tell you how my date goes tomorrow night.
