Chapter 34: Revelations

I still don't know how to react the way about Anne's confession but I'm really ready to hear out her story so would understand the thing about what she did.

"So, what's your story about with Hernan?" I ask her since I was ready to listen to her this time.

"It was a long story yung mismong tungkol sa'kin, sa pagkakaalam ko na nagkaroon kami ng affair nung time na bigla na lang akong iniwan ni Phillipp dahil nalaman ko na nililigawan na niya si Monika at masyado akong malungkot." Anne explains to me about her side story.

"Then tumagal ang affair?"

"Hindi sa ganon, noon ay matalik ko ng kaibigan si Hernan alam ko hindi siya yung typical na lalaki na basta nang-iiwan ng babae, nung time na yon, pinipilit din siyang ikasal doon sa pinakamayamang babaeng na anak ng isang kumpanya sa tela, si Minerva."

"Then, what happened after the affair..."

"Nangyari pagkatapos, That one night bigla akong nabuntis sa kanya kahit in love na in love ako sa kanya pagkatapos don nagsimula yung pagmamahalan namin kahit napilitan siyang magpakasal kay Minerva, hindi ako ganon kayaman katulad ni Minerva."

She did tell me everything I need to know and it seems it was a big revelation to her. That is too much shocking na malaman ko yung buong truth and I just can't believe it.

"Alam ko na yon ang pangalan ng anak ko, kasi yun ang pinangalan sa kanya ni Hernan. Pinakita niya pa sa'kin yung litrato niya, nung binigay ko siya sa tatay niya, sabi niya sa'kin hindi niya hahayaan na masaktan siya ni Minerva."

Habang nasa usual conversation kami, lumabas yung godmother ko and she gave us root beer, my usual favorite all of time.

"I'm glad you both enjoyed talking, that was a good sign of that you find her, it's like really good and I hope you really got to be comfortable with each other." Iris smiled to both of us seeing me and Anne having a nice conversation, she continued "Hallo, Annegret!"

"Hello, I'm good actually. It's so nice to talk to one of Philipp's daughter." Anne said to Iris then she looked at me and smiled again.

"Well I let you too talk."

Iris let us leave now because she thinks that we could have our private conversation here and this would be the good moment.

"I'm actually finding for you so long since before I studied at Treves University and hard to find you, I know na mahahanap ko din kayo kaya I am trying to be patient, it's good to see you personally."

"Ikaw rin, it's good na makita din kita ng personal. hindi ko alam kung bakit din gusto akong makita ni Philipp!"

"Because he wanted to say sorry for what he did, he admits na hindi niya kayang saktan si Monika, pero I don't like her trait and personality though, I'm just being honest."

Her eyes widen. "Yun ba ang dahilan kung bakit hindi mo kasama si Philipp?"

"Yeah it's because that Monika hates me and she only loves my two half sisters and not me."

"Hindi ka man lang nakararamdam ng selos pag masyadong pinapansin ni Philipp yung katapid mo sa labas?"

"It's fine, why I should bother to get angry to my half sisters? Anyway I can't blame them about why they should be existed in my father's life, I can't blame them and how about you? meron ka na din bang sariling family?"
