Hesitantly I opened my phone as I got up from my bed.
Kenz- Hey Laur. Sorry to wake you this early.
Kenz- Can you meet us at our place in an hour?
Kenz- Replyyy Lolo...
I shook my head in a amusement as I quickly sent a reply.
Me- Sure. But what's the emergency?
Kenz- Nothin.....
Me- K.
I change into a white polo t-shirt and a pair of jeans.

Kenz- DON'T DRESS CASUAL
Me- What's going on Kenz?
Kenz- Nothinnnn...
Me- It has to be somethin.
Kenz- Wear a dress
Me- I just changed Kenz.
Kenz- Please. You'll regret it.
Me- why?
Kenz- Just change into a dress.
Me- Fine.
I pull out a formal yet casual white dress. It's design is floral yet cute. I change into the dress and put on my white flats. I can't stand heels. I put on a pair of silver earrings and a heart necklace. I put my hair down and brush through the strands of tangles.
I put on mascara and some light nude lipgloss. I look at myself in the mirror before walking downstairs to get some food before I leave. I enter the cafe that always leaves me breathless. I love the scent the coffee they brew creates.
"Hello. How may I help you?" The waitress asks.
"I'll have a frappucino with a stack of pancakes."
"Lovely. I'll be right back with your order." She walks away with a bright smile.
I take out my phone only to be left with a pair of messages from Kenzie.
Kenz- Where are you?
Kenz- Are you coming yet?
Kenz- If your driving don't respond.
Kenz- Answer meeee.
A chuckle escaped my lips as I shook my head.
Me- I'm fine Kenz. Just getting breakfast.
Kenz- Come over. We have breakfast here.
Me- I just ordered.
Kenz- Come onnnn.
Me- Fine. Your making me undo things todays. What's the rush?
Kenz- Just come over and you'll find out.
Me- tell meee.
Kenz- Nope. See ya soon.
Me- See ya.
I quickly told the waitress to cancel my order, apologizing for the trouble before rushing out. I enter my car and carefully drove off.

The whole house was empty. The door slowly opened, but no one was nearby.
"Kenzie? Chloe? John? Nathan? Anyone home?" I looked around taking small steps at a time.
A banner fell down.
I'm sorry.
Suddenly he appeared in front of me. Oh crap... I think I just walked in a trap.
