I'm glad Spanish class is over. It's just Mr. Martinez yelling over and over of how we don't speak Español in his classroom.
We never really learn anything. Like a girl is trying to get in a good college. He just wastes my time but it's whatever.
Lucky me I have free period right now. I usually spend my free time with River. But he's unusually late today.
After five minutes of waiting my phone buzzed.
River: I can't make it to free period today.
River: I am sorry 😔.
Me: It's alright we have plenty of other time to spend together.
Since River wasn't able to make it I decided to work on my drawings.
I love drawing I have my works posted all over my wall. I am drawing a meadow filled with flowers. Its going to have birds and a beautiful sunset.
"It's going to turn out beautiful" I heard a deep voice speak. I looked up to see Andre hovering over me.
Why is one of the most popular guys addressing my work. I thought this day was going to be terrible.
"It looks alright so far it's just going to take some time" I revealed. He sat close to me on the bench. I moved over a bit.
"No worries I don't bite" He admitted. Does he have something better to do than talk to me. I just want this time to myself.
"I have a bubble and you were about to pop it. I am human and I need personal space" I hissed.
He put both of his hands up to show me he was defenseless. "Sorry" He apologized.
"It's alright at least you learned" I replied.
"So why is a pretty girl like you here all alone?" he asked.
"Well your best friend left me here alone " I told him.
"Your the famous Scarlett he talks about" He pointed out.
"What are you trying to get at?" I questioned him. I seriously wanted this guy to leave.
"Well why is River spending time with another girl when his favorite one is right here" He wondered.
"Well that's not my problem we are just good friends" I fired at him.
That's what I have to keep telling myself. Just friends nothing more.
"Your bothering me so can you leave" I harshly told him.
"I just want to get to know you. Is that hard to ask" He acknowledged.
"Well there's a slight problem with your plan because I don't want to get to know you" I know I am being rude but I just don't give a shit.
"You'll come around sugar just wait and see" he added. I packed my things and started walking off.
Wait I wanted to get the last words. So I turned around and looked at him. I just wanted to slap him because of the smirk on his face.
"In your dreams Andre" I yelled. Now I feel better so I headed towards the building after that.
I love my courage because it shows everyone that I am not a pussy.
