i was sitting in me and kenz's bedroom all alone trying to find out what she's hiding, i know i could simply just ask elena what's wrong but i want kenz to tell me herself and i know she will but when i have no idea.
i was reading a text jay sent me about what happened when suddenly someone walked in.
me : kenzie
kenz : i need to talk to you
i sat up on the bed and mde her a little space next to me so she can sit
kenz : when i was 16 i uh i got a brain tumor
me : what do you mean
kenz : it started spreading through my brain and my mom took me to pittsburgh for months so she can fix it without anyone knowing
me : oh my god
kenz : and uh in pittsburgh they did a surgery that stopped the tumor from growing but they couldn't remove it and for a year i was really careful but then i stopped having headaches and it's like the tumor was just gone so i got back to my old habits and then the accident happened which made things way worse
me : thats why the doctor told me that considering your last things it was gonna be hard
kenz : yes and after the accident everything seemed so normal but the tumor started growing again without them knowing and with everything that has happened it just started getting worse and worse everyday but before two week i felt something so different so i told elena about it and she told me to do a scan at the doctor
kenz : he told me that the tumor has grown a lot and that it needs a surgery so this week i'm having a surgery but he also told me that there's a 50 chance that this surgery won't work and it will make the tumor grow faster in my body but if it does work it may be gone forever
kenz : and i couldn't tell you because i was just sooo scared johny i don't wanna die
me : heyhey look at me you're not gonna die i'm here for you okay no matter what happens i will be by your side until the end now remove those little tears and let's go watch your fav show cause your amazing boyfriend recorded the new episode for you
she looked up and a beautiful smile started growing on her face, i kissed her forehead and held her tight.
