An Illusion
In a midnight haze,
I saw you gaze,
I was amazed
We were in our own maze,
I was simply just phased..
The road we paved,
Started with the way you waved,
I was amazed
And you were so well-behaved.
We survived a twirl of emotions unscathed,
Lifting up my already exchanged
Sadness for happiness.
Dragging up my hopes,
That were once buried in the ground.
We're leaving behind our hastiness.
Blood all around us, but my shirt was unstained.
My blood was drawn, it was detained.
It all left me unsustained.
