Dreamland
Noticed you
Standing out,
Not in a crowd,
Like me.
Eccentric, electric, immersing
Me in solidarity's hug.
I found
A way to your heart,
When we were apart
The most.
I don't have the means
To utter how much
I've missed you but
You know I did.
I know you know I did.
I think you look at me,
Living in a dreamland,
Living in a fantasy
Where we would both hold hands.
I think you adore me,
I sense your heartbeat
From miles away
Living in my own illusion.
I see the confusion
On your face when
You don't understand how much
Effort I out into my words.
A spectrum of emotions and
None of them seem right for me.
What have I done to deserve this?
See someone like you with me?
I tried to take a chance,
And failed miserably,
Now you'll only remain delusively mine.
Deceptive creature,
I noticed you
Standing out,
For the first time,
Beside me,
But far off in your own
Dream, your own destined world.
And I haven't even got a blessing
From you as your final word.
