Kairen got out bacon and eggs and grits. She started to cook up a small breakfast before she went to class and before Daystar went to Ms. Lisa.
While cooking Kairen heard a noise. She walked out the kitchen to see Daystar sitting on his play dog she bought. A smile plastered on her face as she came towards him. He extended his arms towards her, Kairen gladly picked him up.

Ever since he came back into her life, Kairen couldn't help but want to shower him with love and affection. It was obvious that his grandmother wasn't doing a good job because every time she came by him he flinched. Also, his clothes wreaked of smoke and mildew. So, Kairen had to wash all his clothes and shoes.
Thing to this was that she didn't tell her family about Daystar being with her. It hadn't crossed her mind because she didn't want to put her family through any pain.
Her cellphone rung and Daystar ran into the kitchen with it. She grabbed it from out of his hand and saw it was FaceTime from her sister. Kairen exhaled and answered it.
"Hey Kairen!" Blue exclaimed.
"Hey." Kairen signed.
"How's Atlanta treating you?" She asked.
"Good." Kairen signed back. She put her phone on the kitchen counter so she could cook and communicate with her Blue.
"So did you met any cute boys?"
Kairen shook her head.
"Naa!" Daystar yelled. That was the nickname he gave Kairen.
"Who's that?" Blue asked.
Kairen put her finger up and went to see what was wrong with Daystar. She went to the living room to see Daystar with his arms held up and a pout on his face. It was like he adored being around his aunt. Kairen picked him up and walked back into the kitchen with him on her hip. She walked in the view of the camera. Daystar saw the camera and wiggled out of Kairen's arm.
"Hiiiii!" He said smiling.
"Kai is that Daystar? Our Daystar?" Blue asked.
Kairen nodded.
"Omg you don't need to have him there with you. You just started school. Ima come down and get him." She said.
"No. I have full custody over him. Zanara wrote that when I turned eighteen she wanted Daystar in my custody. So, that's where he's staying." She signed.
Blue exhaled. "How are you going to go to class and no one can take care of him?"
"The lady that was on Zanara's case said she'll take care of him while I go to school. Besides half of my classes are online." Kairen signed as she explained.
"Okay. Just give her my number incase something goes wrong." She said.
Kairen nodded. They both said goodbye, including Daystar. Kairen fed him and got him dress. When he got dressed she sat him on the couch. She then got ready herself. She threw her hair into a ponytail. She had had on a black body suit with a white outline. She grabbed her tan bag and Daystar. Kairen exited out her apartment and locked her door.
