Hi, you may be asking about the cover. I changed it, but if you guys want, I can change it back. I can make it temporary.

I just thought it matched the aesthetic of my books.

----

I chuckled dryly.

"Aaron Burr. I'm not just going to stand here, waiting for something to happen." I smiled to myself.

"(Y/N), we have to." He turned around, now facing me.

"I'm going to tell Eliza." I crossed my arms.

"No." Burr snapped.

"(Y/N), we won't have to tell her. Alexander's stupidity will get him in a predicament anyway." The words smoothly came out of his mouth.

"What do you mean?" I sighed.

"You'll see, (Y/N). We'll just need a few friends." He smirked.

"Burr, I'm not going to ruin Hamilton's rep."

What is this man thinking?

"Oh, no, we're not. He's going to do that by himself."

"I really don't get you." I laughed, once again.

"You will." He smiled.

---

"Bonjour, y'all!" Thomas smiled, carrying his staff.

"What the fuck was that?" Burr turned around to see the Virginian holding a stick.

"Language, Burr." I glared at him.

The children were there too.

"There are children present." Washington placed his hands on Burr's shoulders.

"Oh, um.. Yes!" He flinched.

"Bad word!" Theo huffed.

"Yeah, Burr. Bad word." I copied Theo's actions.

She giggled.

"(Y/N), you're fat" Theo pointed at the baby.

Everyone busted out laughing.

"That's just a baby, Theo." Burr choked on his drink.

Washington smiled. Wow.

"I agree, Theodosia." Thomas laughed along.

"Oh my." I leaned back, shuffling to find a comfortable position for my baby.

"Do you need help with the baby?" The smooth accent of a very familiar voice came into the room.

My heart started pounding, and I turned around to see who it was.

I ran to the man, hugging him tightly.

"I missed you so much!" I whispered in his ear, still hugging him.

"Tu m'as manqué plus, mon amour." He left butterfly kisses on my face, making my heart skip a beat.

I let out a tear.

"Bonjour, Monsieur Lafayette." Thomas smiled, greeting my husband.

"Hello, everyone." He smiled, still being held onto.

"I'll let go now." I slowly released Laf from my grasp.

"Waf?" Theo came up to Laf, hugging his leg.

"Hahaha, hello." He knelt down, still smiling at the little girl.

"You have to catch up with a lot." I kissed him on his stubble, knowing what it does to him.

He glared at me, making everyone question him.

Washington cleared his throat, clearly examining the situation.

"So, about the Cabinet meeting." Washington cupped his hands together.

I immediately remembered Hamilton.

"Not a word, (Y/N)." Burr looked over to me.

I nodded.
