We arrived at a pub near the camp. I was the only female who signed up. It was awkward, since men were harassing me. Oh God, it was only my first day...

"Let's get shots!" Hercules exclaimed. He was beside a freckled family member of mine. I walked up to John, and hugged him.

"(Y/N)? What are you doing here?" He worried about me. I explained everything that happened.

"You might get hurt!" He hugged me.
"Father trained me. I won't." I hugged back.

After a few shots, Hamilton decided to go outside. He got into a conversation with him. We followed him outside.

"Talk less." An unknown voice said to him.

"Smile more." The man smiled at him.

"Oh hah." Hamilton laughed.

"Don't let them know what you're against or what you're for~"
"You can't be serious."

"You wanna get ahead. Fools who run their mouths off, wind up dead." He took a sip of his beer.

"Yo-- Yo- Yo- Yo yo! What time is it?!" My brother sat on their table.

I mentally banged my head on the table.
"What is he doing?!" I asked Mulligan.

"No clue." He replied.

"Yo, I'm John Laurens in the place to be! Two pints 'o Sam Adams but I'm workin' on three."

Lafayette and Mulligan both replied with "Ha!"

I just sat down, and watched what was going on.

"Et Oui Oui, mon ami. Je m'appelle Lafayette."

His voice... His accent... I was blushing like crazy.
He looked at me.

"The Lancelot of the revolutionary set."  He had a really thick accent. He winked at me.

'OH MY GOD HE WINKED AT ME' was all I was thinking when he winked, and continued with his um... Introduction?

I felt my face heat up like crazy. The other girls on the street were crushing on Lafayette as well.

Mulligan also joined in.
"No more sex! Pour me another brew, son."
He laughed... he was drunk.

------------

I finally met Washington. I was in his office, talking to him.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" He asked, concerned.

"Yes. I'll be fine."
"If there's any harassment going on, just call for me."
"Yes, sir."
"Ok, you're dismissed."
I stood up, and as I was about to leave..

"Oh, and you're staying in the tent with Lafayette and Laurens."

I blushed when I heard him say Lafayette.
"It's in alphabetical order." He added.
"Yes, sir. Th-Thank you." I rushed out of his office.

"How did it go, ma cherie?" Lafayette greeted me on my way to their tent.

"I'm staying at your tent, Laf!" I giggled, and hugged him.

'Shoot- why did I hug him?! I'm an idiot!'

I blushed when I realized what I was doing.
He just laughed, and hugged me back.

We went to the tent, and I set up my belongings. My bed was beside Lafayette's. My heart was racing. I liked him...

No, I can't like him! We're in the middle of a war... I can't do this- What if he doesn't like me back?! He winked at me! Oh my G-

"Ma cherie, are you alright?" He sat down beside me.

"Y-Yes! I was just thinking... about stuff..." I smiled like an idiot, once again.
