I sat beside Laf in the empty hospital room.

"You okay?" I questioned him, smiling.

"Cheri, can you get that please?" He pointed at Common Sense.

"I thought you've read this already?" I took the book and handed it to my husband.

"Indeed, but it is very interesting." He flipped through the pages, reading thoroughly.

I sighed, and smiled to myself.

The two sisters- who I've been seeing often came into the room bringing flowers.

Oh, they had two little girls with them.

"Who are these little things?" I smiled at them.

"Our sisters!" They smiled.

"Wha--"

"Okay, let me just get this out. We have a LOT of siblings." Peggy stated.

Angelica brought one of the girls out from behind her.

"Aww, they're so precious." I smiled at them.

"I'd love babies." Laf smirked.

"Laf!" I glared at him even though I did too...

They laughed.

"This is Catherine.." Peggy smiled at the girl.

"Call me Kitty!" The girl smiled.

"Okay." I replied.

"I'm Cornelia." The slightly older girl jumped up, and smiled.

"Is that Lafayette?" Kitty pointed at Laf's body.

"Yeah, go up to him." Angelica nudged them.

"He won't bite." I giggled.

"What happened to your stomach?" Cornelia looked down at his wound.

"I was stabbed." He huffed.

"What is stabbed?" Kitty ran to Angelica.

Angelica explained to the little girl.

"Peggy, I thought you were the youngest?" I called her over to the bench.

"Nope, Catherine is the youngest." Peggy smiled.

"We have to go, guys. Daddy's calling." Angelica called out.

"Aww, okay." Cornelia placed the flowers on Laf's bedside table.

"Bye." They all said in unison.

"Bye!" I waved, and Laf smiled at them.

"They were just the cutest things." I smiled.

He smirked.

"You idiot." I huffed.

Alexander came into the room with Eliza, and his little Philip.

"Hey!" I smiled at them.

"How's Laf?" Alexander hugged me, then made his way to Laf.

"I'm fine." Laf smiled.

"I brought little Philip, since there was nobody to take care of him." Eliza sat Philip on her lap.

"Hi~" He giggled.

"Hi there!" I smiled at him.

Alexander and Gilbert were there, talking about politics and such.

"He's just a bean." Eliza snuggled him.

"I agree."

I arrived at home, and placed all of my things down.

Laf is coming home tomorrow, and there's nothing I wanted more.

There was a knock at my door.

"Coming!" I ran to the door, and opened it.

There stood a tall man who I despised. I hated him with all of my life.
