I looked down, and my privates were reddish. No.. No.. No.

(Google Chadwick's sign-- unless you don't want to know.)

"What. The. Fuck." I covered my mouth, and let tears slip.

"I need to see Laf." I quickly tried to find a shift, and I slipped on my stockings and my cream corset.

I put on the pocket hoops, and my hip pad. The petticoat went on as well, and the stomacher. Lastly, I put on the overskirt. I put on cream heeled shoes over the white stockings.

My (h/c) hair flowed in front of my face, and I put it up in a neat bun.

"I have until noon." I took a clean white purse with me, and got out of my house.

"Mrs. Lafayette?" The nurse asked me.

"Mmm." I hummed, and smiled at her.

"I'll bring you to the room. Follow me please." She smiled back, and brought me to the room.

"I'm leaving today." The bright French man smiled at me.

"I have to tell you something." I walked up to him.

He stood up, and leaned a bit so I could whisper in his ear.

"Look, Antoine, he came into our home yesterd--"

"What did he do?!" He crossed his arms.

"I'm not done." I sat on the bed with him, and pulled my lips closer to his ears.

"I'm meeting up with him at the Hudson River." I looked at him.

"You smart girl." He smirked at me.

"Oop! That's not it." I bit my lip.

"What is it?" He tipped my head up.

"Laf, I--" I let a tear out. Tears of joy.

"You're going to be a daddy." I looked up at him, and bit my lip again.

"What, have you developed some kink?" He licked his lips.

"No!" I playfully punched his arm.

"Okay, I was kidding." He laughed.

"I'm pregnant, Gilbert." I rubbed my belly.

"Really?" His eyes were filled with happiness, and hope.

"Bébé, tu ne sais pas à quel point je suis heureux." He smiled. His smile was bigger than my smile when I-- 'ya know what...

He smiled.

"Oh, je sais." I hugged him.

"I love you." I smiled up at him.

"What are you naming him--her-- uh.." He looked at me.

"I don't know the gender, but I prepared names if it's a girl."

"Let me hear them." He grinned cockily.

"Okay, Eleanor." I stated. The name after my mother.

"Adrianne." I said, feeling sorry for Gilbert.

"I have a name. Catherine." He smiled.

"That's cute." I hugged him.

It was almost time for me to head to the River.

"Back me up." I realised that I needed to go.

"I'd do that even if you didn't say so."
