Payton's P.O.V

"hey. I don't know what time you guys usually wake up for school and I figured you'd have to go home to change" I say gently shaking Shawn. He opens his eyes and smiles.

"good morning. What time is it" he says.

"you have 2 hours before the bell rings. But I didn't know if you had to go home or not and I don't feel comfortable waking them up so can you do it?" I smile. He nods and kicks Aaron.

"wake your ass up" he says. Aaron groans and sits up.

"what the hell you kicking me for and is that bacon I smell?" he says rubbing his eyes

"uh yeah. I made breakfast. I don't know what everyone liked so I made French toast, bacon, scrambled eggs, and sausage. If someone doesn't like what I made. I can get something from McDonalds" I say.

"okay I know you just met us but were not very hard to please. That sounds and smells delicious" Olivia says. I didn't even know she was awake.

"yes, it does. C'mon" Shawn says standing up, pulling me into the kitchen. Olivia and Aaron following. We all get our plates and sit down at the table.

"this is so good" Aaron says. stuffing his mouth with eggs

"you're absolutely disgusting, but yes this is very good. Thank you" Shawn says smiling at me.

"you're welcome" I say. we all finish eating and I wash all the dishes.

"we should probably go. since I still have to drop this brat off" Aaron says Olivia gasps and hits him in the chest

"shut the fuck up" she rolls her eyes

"thanks for letting us stay. I had a blast. I'll see y'all later?" she turns to me and Shawn

"of course. Bye" Shawn says. I walk them to the door and open it for them.

"bye Payton" Aaron says

"bye guys" I smile. Once they are out the door. I close it and face Shawn who was standing behind me

"shouldn't you leave to?" I ask him

"it literally takes me 5 minutes to change and I took a shower yesterday before I came over. So, no. I don't have to leave unless you want me to?" he smirks

"uh no but I still have to get ready. So, you can sit in my room and I'll just change in the bathroom" I say walking to the stairs

"I mean you don't have to change in the bathroom" he chuckles

"nice try" I shake my head, glancing back at him to see him smirking

"your gross" I walk into my bedroom a go to my dresser. I grab my clothes and turn to him

"were technically not dating. But I really want to kiss you" he mumbles. I look down at blush

"well...who would I be to stop you" I whisper looking back up. he smiles and walks closer, putting his hands on my waist. He leans in closer and closer before the space in between us disappears.

At first the kiss was small. But then it grew bigger, and more intense. Without realizing what I was doing, I pull him closer. Before the kiss could get any more intense, I pull away smiling

"we might want to stop before something gets started that we can't finish" I bite my lip

"Paytonnnnn" he groans

"Shawnnnnn, I have to get ready" I walk towards the bathroom. I turn to look at him to see him pouting.

"later" I close the door. I change really quickly and put on a little makeup. I do my hair, I look at myself one last time before turning and walking out to see Shawn sitting on the bed

"dude, why are you still here?" I ask him

"I was waiting for you. I want to drive you to school today" he smiles a goofy smile

"okay well if we're not going to be late, we have to leave now so you can change and shit" I say grabbing my bag.

"calm down. I'm coming I'm coming" he stands up. I grab my phone and we walk out the room and down the stairs.

"do you have everything you brought over?" I ask him before we walk out of the door. he nods. I let him walk out first before I walk out after him and lock the door behind me. we walk out to the car, he opens the door for me. I get in and he closes the door. he runs to the other side and gets in

"I feel like something bad is going to happen today" I mumble

"why do you say that?" he glances at me as he pulls away from the curb.

"I don't know. I just feel like something is going to go terribly wrong"
