Okay the last chapter kind of ended weird but I didn't know how else to end it, so yeah sorry

"Just feed it Payton" Shawn says referring to the giraffe that's currently right in front of my face
"uh what do I feed it. my hand?" I ask stepping back. He rolls his eyes and holds out the bucket of food.
"no, you feed him this" he says. I grab the food and slowly walk up to the huge animal in front of me.
"just hold out the bucket" the lady says that's monitoring the feeding
"uh okay" I say holding up the bucket. The giraffe sticks his head in the bucket and I turn my head to look at Shawn
"what do I do, let it eat the whole bucket?" I ask the lady. She nods and smiles
"usually the giraffe just takes the whole bucket. I'm surprised he hasn't done that yet" she says. I glance at the giraffe and see its not eating anymore, but staring at me. I slowly back away from it and hand Shawn the bucket
"uh your turn" I say.
"I don't want to feed it" he says grabbing the bucket from me.
"just do it" I say. he sighs and walks up to it, holding up the bucket and letting the giraffe eat the rest of the food, when all of it is gone. He hands the bucket to the lady
"uhm thanks" he says and rushes me away from the giraffe
"those things creep me out but I thought you'd like to feed it" he says scratching the back of his neck
"thank you, that giraffe just kept on staring at me" I say laughing. He laughs with me as we start to walk to the exit.
"I had a lot of fun today" I say smiling up at him.
"me too" he says to me. we walk the rest of the way to the car in silence and get in
"where do you want to go to get food" he says as he starts the car.
"bro lets go to Denny's" I say laughing as I see the sign.
"out of all places. You choose Denny's" he says laughing.
"uh duh. Denny's is actually really good" I say. he shrugs and turns into the Denny's parking lot
"Okay well, you're a weirdo" he says. once he's parked. I get out of the car and we go inside. The waiter takes us to our seat and we give him our drink orders. After he leaves. Shawn looks at me and smirks
"uh what" I say.
"I can't believe you were scared to feed the giraffe" he says laughing.
"you can't say anything, you said they creep you out" I say throwing a napkin at him. He rolls his eyes and shrugs
"whatever" he mumbles. Making me laugh. The waiter comes back and gives us our drinks
"you guys ready to order?" He says. I look at Shawn and nod
"I am" I say.
"me too" he says. I tell him my order and Shawn does the same. Once he's gone, it starts to get an awkward silence.
"you really are basic though, chicken tenders, really?" Shawn says laughing.
"why don't you shut up and leave me alone with my basic self alright" I say rolling my eyes. Shawn puts his hands up in defense and cocks his head to the side
"why in such a bad mood all of the sudden" he asks.
"I'm hungry" I groan. He shakes his head and leans back
"and the food is coming, calm yourself" he says referring to the waiter coming back. I smile at Shawn. We eat the food in silence having some small talk. Once were both done, the waiter comes back with the check and sets it on the table. I grab it before Shawn can, I put the money needed in it and hand it back to the waiter.
"you fucker" Shawn whispers to me once the waiter leaves. I laugh and stand up,
"should have been quicker than that" I say. Shawn glares at me and stands up
"whatever" he rolls his eyes. we walk out to his car and get in
"are you really mad?" I ask him. He glances at me and smiles
"of course not. But, am I taking you back to your house?" he says turning the car on.
"yes please" I say. after that, we both stay quiet until we pull up in front of my house.
"let me walk up to your door" he smiles. I nod and we get out, walking up to my door, I turn to face him
"I had a lot of fun today, thank you" I say. he smiles and walks up to me, wrapping his arms around my waist, giving me a hug
"I had fun to" he whispers. We stay in a hug for a while until I finally pull away.
"text me?" I ask him. He nods and looks down. I turn back around and open the door. I glance at him as he walks away, ad slowly close the door. I look around the dark house and go upstairs and into the bathroom, I turn on the shower and strip from my clothes, I take a quick shower and get out, putting on a t-shirt and a pair of shorts. I turn off the light and jump into bed, my phone vibrates next to me. I pick it up and see it's a text from Shawn
S: thanks for making this day amazing J
Me: I should be the one thanking you, I have to work tomorrow morning but you should come over tomorrow night, I make bomb chicken alfredo.
S: I'll be there, goodnight Payton
Me: Goodnight Shawn
I lock my phone and set it on the charger on my nightstand. I look up at the ceiling and smile.
Am I falling for Shawn?

I honestly feel really bad for not keeping the updates for my books on schedule. when I first started. I wanted to do at least one update per day. but now that school is kicking my ass (I'm failing physical science by the way, the easiest class and I'm failing) I swear I'm going to try and keep these up. please don't hate meh.
I got a story for you guys. okay so for world Geo, I have the easiest fucking teacher, like everyone knows it. everyone wants to be switched into his class. well, he gave us a project to do on Europe. I had all of it done. all 20 something questions (basically, he gave us 20 land marks that are in Europe and we had to put a description, and four pictures. it took me about a hour and a half to do all of it) ANYWHO. I had it all done. every single fucking question done. and you wanna know what my dumb ass did? I deleted it. like when I say deleted it. I mean like its no where to be found. its not even in my trash can anymore (don't ask me how I did that) so now, I have to do it sometime today. but I have a plan,
I'm currently at a friends house, and Ima work on it while I'm here, (she's still asleep) so when I get home, I can spend all my time catching up on some updates for my books :)
I have a headache
