Saying Goodbye To Josh

It was finally lunch time, they were giving out chicken nuggets today. We were just at our table like always talking about something.

Caro told Kim that Ricky Rantzen likes her. She couldn't stop talking about him.

Suddenly, I was thinking about Junior. How he kissed me that day in my other living room and when he told me that I have beautiful eyes the next day.

"Earth to Steph!" Kim, waving her hand in front of my face.

"Steph!"

"What?" I broke out of my trance.

"What are you thinking about?"

"Nobody."

"I said what. Not who."

"She was probably thinking about Junior." Caro said, smirking.

"No I wasn't."

"Yes. You were."

"Did I miss something here?"

"Junior is starting to be nice to her ever since they got paired up together for Ms. Desjardin's class and I think he likes her."

"I'm so sure Caro." I rolled my eyes at Caro.

"Why can't you just admit that you like him too Steph?"

"No I don't."

"Yes you do."

"Shut up you two! Let me eat!" Kim yelled, trying to eat her chicken nuggets.

"So anyways I like Ricky."

"When is your date with him?"

"I don't know probably this weekend."

"You know I'm here for you sis."

"Thanks Steph."

"You welcome."

Steven and Junior were at their table, the jocks table. Steven was throwing kisses at Kim.

Kim was throwing kisses back to him. It was sweet.

When Kim finished eating her chicken nuggets, we got up and we threw our trays away.

Then we went outside the cafeteria. We sat on the benches. We were talking about Teen Wolf.

The last bell rang, we went walking to class.

We were in Home Economics. Everyone sat next to their partners.

"Are you guys ready to show me what you learned about parenting?"

We were the first ones to show our assignment. Junior and I showed Josh.

We told the class that it's important for both parents to take care of a baby. Then we told them that we took turns feeding and cleaning Joshy.

Junior said that he always played with him.

We got an A afterwards. Yay! I didn't fail.

When everybody finished talking about their assignments, We said goodbye to the fake babies.

Five minutes later, class ended.

"I'm going to miss Joshy!"

"Me too. Poor little guy." I pouted.

"Well gtg Steph. I have football practice. See ya."

"Bye."

"Whoo! Steph. He called you by your name."

"So?"

"So? It's so obvious. He likes you."

"Oh shut up Caro! Let's go to practice. We're going to be late."

We went running towards the band hall.

We saw a letter on the door.

Colorguard practice is cancelled for today

"I know right! Oh well. Let's go to the mall."
