I Think I like "The Jerk"

After a long drive, I finally came home. I was on my way upstairs until I hear my mom yell out my name from the kitchen.

''Steph! Where were you?''

''I was out shopping why?''

''Let me see what you bought!''

My mom looked at my shorts and my acdc shirt.

''These are pretty! You would look so beautiful wearing them!''

''Thanks mom!''

''Did you had fun?''

''Yes mom. I went shopping with Caro and then we went to the movies.''

''Did Kim go also?''

''No mom, because she's hungover fom last night.''

''Oh ok and did you eat?''

''Yes mom why?''

''Because I'm afraid you're going to become anorexic sweetie. That's why I'm asking you.''

''I did ate mom. I had chick-fil-a today.''

''Good and what movie did you went to go see?''

''We went to go see Frozen.''

''Cool.''

''I'm going to put these in my room.''

''Ok sweetie.''

I went upstairs to my room. I put my new clothes and brand new combat boots in my closet.

I couldn't stop thinking about what happened between me and Junior at the movies.

The way he kissed me.

I say to myself, "Get him out of your mind Steph."

To take my mind of Junior, I just listening to music on my phone.

I was just laying down on my bed until Kim calls me.

''Hey!''

''Steph! Guess what?''

''What?''

''I'm going out with Steven!''

''Really?''

''Yeah. He asked me out today.''

''Really? That's awesome! Tell me everything.''

''Ok this is what happened. Remember when you told me to text him right?''

''Right, go on.''

''He didn't answer my text. But he called me back. Then he apologized that he couldn't answer my text."

"Mhm then."

"Then he told me what would you say if I told you I like you? I told him I don't know why? Then he told me Kim, I like you alot ever since I saw you last night in that white dress. You're so beautiful my little redhead.''

''Aw! He called you his little redhead.''

''Yup. Then he finally told me, Would you be my girlfriend Kimberly Payne? and I said yes."

''Aw I'm so happy for you sis! You finally found a nice guy.''

''Thanks girl! I'm so happy! I can't wait to see him tomorrow!''

''Your first date with him right?''

''Yeah Steph. But I don't know what to wear.''

''You should wear whatever you want Kim. He's not going to care what you wear.''

''Yeah. But I want to look perfect for him.''

''Aw! Where is he taking you?''

''I don't know. It's a surprise.''

''Cool!''

''Steph, my boyfriend is calling me. Can we talk later?''

''Sure. Go talk to your boyfriend.''

''Ok. bye Steph.''

I'm so happy for Kim! She finally found a boyfriend who's sweet and nice to her. I just hope I can find a guy like him someday.

If only Junior can be like that.

Wait! What the hell am I saying? Am I? I think so.

I think I like "The Jerk" but it can't be.

He's "The Jerk!" He's just a heart breaker and a player. I wouldn't want to get hurt by him.

I've been hurt all my life. The last thing I want is to be hurt by "The Jerk".
