She had told him to come at 6 since the game started at 7:05. It would give them time to get some food and to their seats.

Chris was ecstatic to go to the game. The pizza date had been perfect, and he couldn't wait to see her again. When she suggested coming to a game he didn't even think about it he just said yes immediately. He pulled up at the valet parking and gave the parking attendant his name as Belle had instructed, where he was then led to private parking. He took an elevator up to the club level where Belle was waiting for him. He had to stop his jaw from dropping when the elevator doors opened, and he saw her standing in front of him. In light blue cut off jean shorts and a Dodgers t-shirt that hung loosely off one shoulder she looked unbelievable. She donned a Dodgers baseball hat on her head and casually wore a pair of flip flops completing the outfit. Her dark hair hung down around her shoulders in loose waves and she only showed a hint of makeup on her freckled face.

"Hi!" She lit up instantly when she saw him.

"Hey." He stepped off the elevator and took a step towards her giving her a quick hug. He inhaled her intoxicating scent, a mixture of coconut and cinnamon. She embraced him back with a huge grin.

"I'm glad you came." She said shyly.

"Are you kidding me?" he looked around in excitement, "I'm glad you invited me!"

She smiled warmly but then her nose wrinkled in disgust, "This won't do." She waved a finger at the shirt he was wearing.

"What? What's wrong with this?" He mocked being offended, "It's one of my best t-shirts."

Belle laughed as it was just a plain gray shirt, granted it hugged his arms perfectly and she had to agree it was one of his best shirts.

"Come with me." She grabbed his hand linking her two fingers to his. She took him through the maze of the stadium, stopping at a huge wooden door that said "EMPLOYEES ONLY" across it. Belle took a key card from her back pocket and scanned it against the control panel next to the door. It lit up green and she swung the door open.

"Come on." She pulled him along with her.

The room was filled with Dodger merchandise everything from shirts to hats, to water bottles, koozies, car flags. You name it- it was there. Walking over to a bin full of t-shirts Belle rifled through it until she found what she was looking for.

"Aha! This should fit perfect." She tossed Chris a dark blue Dodger T-shirt.

His face lit up in a delighted grin. In one swift motion he had removed his gray shirt, giving Belle a glimpse of his perfectly ripped stomach, and had slid the Dodger t-shirt over his head. It was indeed a perfect fit.

"I think this is my new favorite shirt." He grinned at her.

"I think it's mine to." She raised her eyebrows with a flirtatious smile.

They made their way down to the left field lower concord where their seats were located.

"Now that you we have you in the proper attire, we need to get you the proper dining." Belle gave Chris a sneaky smile.

"Lead the way pretty lady."

They ordered 2 Dodger Dogs, 2 beers and a huge cheese fries to share before navigating their way through the sea of people to their amazing 3 base line seats. If anyone had recognized Chris they didn't make a big deal out of it.

"Are the seats ok?" Belle asked biting her lip.

Chris furrowed his brow giving her a look like she was nuts, "They're the best seats in the house!"

"Well I'm not sure about that but they're decent." She agreed.

"I'm sitting next to you." Chris nudged her playfully with his shoulder, "They're the best seats."

Belle could feel the heat creeping up her face and she turned away covering her face with her hands.

"Oh no! Not fair! You cannot hide your face because I made you blush!" He tried to pull her hands away laughing.

Belle surrendered with a bashful smile, rolling her eyes she shook her head.

"You really are beautiful." Chris lowered his voice to barely above a whisper.

Belle didn't know what to say so she just grinned widely and grabbed a French fry from their shared container. "You ready for an amazing game?"

"I'm ready." Chris nodded. He sure wasn't just talking about the game.

The game was nonstop action – rare for a baseball game but Chris was pretty sure Belle's enthusiasm had something to do with how exciting it was. He couldn't help but watch how passionate she got, jumping up and cheering with the crowd, booing "bad" calls and chanting along "LET'S GO DODGERS!" with the rest of the fans. By far 7th inning stretch was his favorite part. Belle forced him to stand up and sing along 'Take me out to the ballgame'. He grinned as she screamed "if the DODGERS don't win it's a shame". Looking over at him with that dazzling smile he wanted to grab her right there and kiss her long and hard. It took everything in him not to.

The Dodgers won the game 9-3 and the evening ended with fireworks which they watched in awe. Chris snuck a peek at Belle who was now holding her baseball hat in her hands against her chest and was gazing dreamily at the fireworks display. He couldn't stop himself from reaching out and tucking a piece of hair behind her ear. She turned smiling at him, taking a step closer towards him closing the gap between them she leaned against his tall frame to watch the end of the show.

After the game ended and all the fans emptied the stadium Belle made Chris wait. Suddenly the field and stands were brightly lit up and the cleaning crew filed in to start their evening of making the stadium spotless. The field maintenance crew made their way onto the field as well. Belle grabbed Chris's hand and took him down to the second-row seat right behind the Dodgers' Dugout.

"Belle, this has been amazing. I wasn't sure anything could top our pizza date as the best but this," He looked around the stadium, "knocked it out of the park." He laughed at his own joke, "See what I did there."

Belle giggled, "I do. That was pretty bad."

Chris shrugged. "I save the good ones for date #3."

"Are you asking me out again?" She asked her mouth curving into a coy smile.

"Yes." He nodded his head feverishly.

"Good,"

"I'm going to kiss you." Chris said suddenly as if he felt the need to prepare her.

"OK." Belle tilted her head to the side and parted her lips, an invitation that Chris wasted no time in taking.

In the second row along the 3rd base line Belle felt herself falling harder and faster than she ever had  before.
