Taehyung smirked as both their jaws instantly dropped. "That's of course, only the part I over heard."

Both the men worriedly glanced at each other, before racing down the hall. Taehyung turned to me, giving me a boastful look. I patted him on the back. "I'm impressed, you're a pretty decent actor."

"Who said I was acting?" Taehyung gave me a straight face, before I hit him on the shoulder.

We went over to the gates, and Taehyung cranked the lock open. We're both fairly thin, so we passed through the opening easily. All twelve of us have never been able to venture outdoors in our lives, without being surrounded by escorts. We've been kept in experimentation labs and facilities like this one, for all our lives.

I took a breath of fresh air, and Taehyung did the same. We both looked at each other and smiled. I wish Jungkook came, he'd really like this. The only thing in front of us was a beautiful garden. It went for what seemed like miles. There's blossoming flowers and lights surrounding every inch.

"You, run—!" I yelled at Tae

"You, run—!" I yelled at Tae.

He raised his brow.

"Tag—!" I shouted from across the garden, reassuring him.

"Oh." He hit his palm against his forehead, before dashing away.

Jungkook waited by the door, for what seemed like hours. It's been past thirty minutes, and negative thoughts began to surface his brain. He gulped, looking back and forth from the door to the exit.

"I'm coming to get you guys." He whispered to himself.

Jungkook left his spot with a touch of his fingers, leaving the cold and solid wall as he ran towards the exit. He dashed outside, but came to a halting stop as he came face to face with the colorful garden.

"Wow." Jungkook was in awe as he gazed at the astounding garden with glistening eyes.

He snapped out of his trance when he heard my  voice in the distance.

Damn, Taehyung is really good at tag—like I can't relate. I continued to search for him, but he didn't make a sound. I began hear footsteps coming from behind a tree. I pretended not to notice and abruptly jump out while screaming. "Gotcha—!" I yelled to see a scared Jungkook.

"Jungkook?" I tilted my head.

"Yeah, we're leaving." He frowned, holding his chest as he panted. "Where the hell is Tae?"

"He's hiding." I proudly announced. "We were playing hide and seek."

Jungkook gave me a disappointed look, but little does he know, I'm still a child. "We need to find Taehyung before someone else does."

"Fine." I crossed my arms as he brought me along with him on this search spree.

We both began to call out for Taehyung, searching the entire garden for any signs of him.

"What the hell are you two talking about—?" Jin rubbed his tired eyes.

"Please don't fire us sir." James begged.

"Who ever said anything about firing you?" Jin asked, getting out of bed.

"A young boy, one of the twelve." The guard quickly explained. "A girl was next to him as well."

"What—?" Jin's eyes grew, as he stared at the guards in distraught.

"Call all the men you have and secure all the doors. Nothing gets in and nothing gets out, am I clear?" Jin said, changing into his clothes.

"Tae." Jungkook shouted for the millionth time.

"Uh—did you turn male?" I heard him ask from the bushes.

I grabbed Taehyung by his arm and pulled him forward. He gave me a confused look when he saw Jungkook standing beside me. "Uh—"

"I thought you weren't coming?" Taehyung sassily muttered as he crossed his arms.

"I'm here to get you guys." Jungkook spoke in a scolded tone. "we're going back."

"What—?" Taehyung lowered his brows. "but we were having such a great time."

"Let's go." Jungkook sternly commanded.

"You're such a wet blanket." Taehyung scrunched his nose as they began walking back.

"Jungkook, this isn't the right way." I narrowed my eyes as something looked different. "The gate was never half way—THE GATE, IT'S CLOSING—!"

Jungkook and Taehyung both looked up and then at each other.

"Run?"

"Yeah."

We ran as fast as our legs could carry us. I could hear every breath, and every footstep hitting the dirt. Jungkook slid under the closing gate, and I slid after him. There were a couple of inches between the gate and the floor, and Taehyung was still out there.

"Tae—!" I screamed.

The gate closed.

"You shouldn't have gone out there." A voice said from behind us.
