Taking Care Of Her

She spoke babyishly making manik chuckle at her antics when Nyonika and Raj entered in.

Raj: princess

Nandini: noni mom! Dad!

She beamed like a kid.

Raj: princess how are you feeling now? Better?

Nandini: much better dad except for this monster son of yours

She pouted angrily at the end.

Raj: ab kya kiya is khote ne?

Nandini: dad usko bolo na ki I don't want to have medicines....they are so yuck! But look na....he is not budging only

Nyonika: nandu baby manik is right this time. Agar tum medicines nahi khaogi toh how will you be fit again? Do you wanna stay in this hospital only?

Nandini nodded her head furiously indicating a no as Nyonika smiled at her.

Nyonika: so if you wanna get back home soon then chalo have these medicines fatafat

Nandini looked at manik who gave her an 'I-told-you' look then nodded and gulped the medicines obediently while manik stood there gaping at the ladies in shock and disbelief.

Manik: wow! Main pichle 15 minutes se use yeh dawai khilane ki koshish kar raha hu but no! madam had to be stubborn and now look at her, apne ek baar bola and she did it

Nyonika*smirks*: well...that's my magic

She remarked with a shrug to which manik rolled his eyes.

Raj: acha manik tune amma (amms) ko inform kiya kya about nandini being here?

Manik: voh dad actually....voh kya hai na I was really tensed for nandu aur uss tension me I forgot but then aaj subeh I was thinking about it but unko call karne ka time hi nahi mila

Raj: acha kiya ki tune unhe kuch bola nahi

Manik*confused*: acha kiya?

Raj: ha voh last month amma ki tabyat thodi si kharab thi na and if you would have told her about nandini toh voh zyada stress leti which won't be good for her health

Nyonika: ya exactly so isliye maine aur Raj ne decide kiya hai ki hum mangalore jaenge aur amma ko iss baare me batenge so that she is assured ki nandini ab theek hai

Manik: I guess you are right

Nandini*excited*: noni mom aap mangalore ja rahe ho na toh please main bhi aau? Mujhe amms ki bohot yaad aa rahi hai. Abhi toh unse last month milne gaya tha but I couldn't make it toh isliye main apke saath aau?

She requested with a puppy face but before anyone could reply, manik chipped in.

Manik: nandini are you even serious? You are weak and doctor ne bhi kaha hai you need complete bedrest for at least two days and here you want to travel all the way to mangalore!

Nandini*cutely*: manik please na....I really want to meet amms

Manik*strictly* : no no nandini this cute act of yours won't work this time. You are not going and that's final

Nandini: dadda!!!

She complained looking at Raj with her best puppy face but this time even he agreed with manik.

Raj: sorry princess but this time manik is right, you need rest and amma ko tum theek hone ke baad mil lena

Nandini: but-

Raj: princess no compromising with your health

Nandini*pout*: fine!

Raj*kissing her forehead*: meri good girl

It was evening by now and Raj and Nyonika had already left for mangalore. Nandini was still in the hospital and was plenty bored while manik and Abhi were in the doctor's cabin, discussing about the procedures for nandini's discharge.

Nandini was busy reading a book when Abhi entered in.

Abhi: so baby doll how are you feeling now?

Nandini: bored. Abhi get me out of here na please....you know na how much I dislike hospitals

She complained like a baby and abhimanyu chuckled.

Abhi: don't worry baby doll I just had a talk with the doctor and he said that you are all good to go home now so he will be discharging you tomorrow morning

Nandini: like finally out of this boring place!!

She beamed making Abhi laugh and soon she too joined him. Both the siblings were laughing and doing all sorts of craziness when manik came in, holding a small packet that contained nandini's medicines.

Manik: did I miss something?

He asked, staring at the crazy siblings.

Abhi: nothing...that's our bro-sis talk

Manik*shrugs*: alright. Star have you dinner first and then eat these medicines and off to bed. Tum waise bhi kal se rest nahi karogi kyuki I know ki ghar jaate hi you will get back to your workaholic mode so rest for today at least

Nandini smiled sheepishly at manik and quietly had her dinner amidst chatting with manik and abhimanyu and soon slept after gulping her medicines.

The next day arrived soon where nandini was finally discharged from the hospital and was asked to have a proper bedrest for two days and then visit the doctor on the third day fir a normal checkup to which she agreed readily, eager to get out of the hospital as soon as possible.

Once home, nandini was warmly welcomed back by all her friends who left no chance to pamper her which really overwhelmed nandini and now she was impatiently waiting for only one thing, Valentines Day and her date with manik which made her way too excited because she knew manik would make it special for her, for sure and she was waiting eagerly for that day to arrive, all ecstatic.

So finally done with the hospital track and now date time!!!! MaNan first and most awaited OFFICIAL date and I am so excited to pen it down!! If you have any suggestions for the date or any special requests then do comment them below, I will try my best to add them in their date.
