"Ugh, I'm getting up." I turned off my alarm and pet Kawa, so she can stop barking.
I checked my phone and saw that I had a text message. It was a text from Lucy. "Hey there's no school today because of some teacher meeting thing." It said.
"Well I guess I'm going to be staying home today Kawa. She started barking with cheer and wagging her tail.
She started running and I chased her till we got to a room that had a piano in the center surrounded by pictures of me, my parents, and my sister.
Kawa jumped on the piano chair wanting me to play a song. "No Kawa I not going to play a song, I don't know if I can even play a song on that piano after what happened."
She made a whimper noise while tilting her head like she wanted to know what happened. "Oh it's nothing."
She gave me puppy eyes begging me to play a song. "Oh don't give that look" I said as I tried resisting.
She gave me a pouty face while she was giving me puppy eyes. "How and why do you do this to me?" She stared at me till I broke.
"Fine I'll play a song." She started to wag her tail in joy. "Why do you got to be so adorable." I said as I sat on the chair.
*Bark* she barked in joy while putting her front paws on my leg wagging her tail still. "Aww your so adorable, but you got to stop using that against me."
I grazed my fingers over the keys having memories of what happened.
I started playing a song I taught myself after what happened to my parents.
