Human(2)-!evil Tony x reader

"Or when we made your 1st Iron Man armor when you got back from Afghanistan? Do you remember that?" you asked again, and this time, for a brief second, you saw his eyes flashing brown, before they returned to the odious red.

"Mhm"

"Oh, or when you flew me around the city on my birthday that night... when we used to stargaze on the roof... when me and Rhodie found you in Afghanistan... when we presented Stark Expo together... oh! or when you helped me get rid of my ex..." you said, trying to remember everything that the two of you did over the years.

You are Rhodie's cousin, and he introduced you to Tony 5 years ago, and since then, you and Tony became best friends. Well, you were in love in him, and you really hoped that maybe, just maybe he'd feel the same way.

"Yeah, I remember, I don't have Alzheimer"

"I just... I just thought you forgot" you said quietly.

"I didn't forget. If I changed my perspective over the world, that doesn't mean I don't remember anything" he said, dropping the screwdriver on the table and looking at you with his glassy, red eyes, lifting his eyebrows.

"Then..." you began quietly, your voice shaking, "why aren't you like you were before?" you asked, glancing at the Reality Stone, that was hanging from his neck in the form of a necklace.

Tony saw you looking at the stone, and he grabbed the gem, holding it tight. He narrowed his gaze and encircled the work table, taking steps closer to you.

"Do you think that I don't know what you're trying to do?" he asked in a low, dangerous tone.

With every step he took towards you, you took one back, immediately regretting your decisions.

"Tony, listen, I just-'' you began, just to have him cut you off.

He pinned you to the wall and trapped you between his arms.

"SHUT UP! I am sick of you! You're stupid, and you're useless! I don't even know why I even loved you in the first place!" he yelled, startling you.

Wait... did he just say he loved me?, you thought shocked.

"Tony.. did you just say you loved me?" you asked, not believing your hearing.

"What, are you deaf now?!" he snarled, looking at you.

"Tony, don't--" you began, but he cut you off, delivering a sharp slap across your left cheek.

You cupped your cheek shocked as tears started streaming down your face.

Tony himself, reared back when he saw you crying, realizing what he did, in some sort of way.

"Y/N... I... didn't mean to do that. I... I'm sorry" he said, leaning closer and placing his hands on your shoulders.

His eyes were still red, and you could've told that he was still under the Reality Stone's control, but it seemed that the love he said he has for you, turned into obsession. So, the Reality Stone managed to take reality and change into opposite, and with feelings, it took them, and turned them into amplified version.

"Tony?" you asked, sniffing.

"Yeah?" 

"Remember that I do this for you" you said, looking at him determined.

"What?" he asked confused, frowning.

You placed your hands on his chest and pushed him a few meters back, causing him to fall on the floor. You jumped on him and placed your hand on his chest again, ripping the Arc Reactor out of his chest. 

Slowly, you saw his face getting whiter and whither, and he began breathing heavily.

You took the Reality Stone from his neck and tried to run to the hydraulic press, but Tony caught your ankle and you fell on the floor. Looking back at him, you saw that his eyes were still red.

"Not... not that fast" he caughed

"Dumm-E! Catch!" you yelled and threw the stone towards the robot.

Dumme-E caught the rock and held it, then began moving towards the press, but he was too slow. 

You kicked Tony's hand away with your other leg and managed to get to your feet and run towards Dumm-E to take the gem and deliver it yourself to the press.

But, in your rush, you forgot the Arc Reactor on the floor, and Tony took it, plugging it back.

He took a few deep breaths and gathered enough force to run after you.

When you saw him, you took the stone and threw it on the floor, and stepped on it, crushing it with your foot.

Tony stopped in his tracks, looking at you. You gazed back in his eyes, and you saw his eyes returning to their natural color.

He blinked a few times and looked around, and when he spotted you, his eyes widened.

"Y/N? Where... what am I doing here? Am I hungover?" he asked, looking at you.

"Tony? Is that really you?" you asked.

"No, it's fucking Donald Trump... of course it's me!" he rolled his eyes, and you knew that it was really him.

You ran towards him and tackled him to the floor, kissing him. He rose his eyebrows at first, but then he kissed you back, wrapping his arms around your waist and holding you tight.

When the two of you kissed, you felt a warmth spreading through your body, a sparkling electricity and a strong magnetism.

When the two of you pulled away, you sat down on the cold floor, smiling down at him.

"What was that for?" he asked, grinning at you.

"I love you too" you smiled, repeating what he said earlier.

"How... how did you know?" he asked, confused.

"Well, let's go in the living room and get comfortable, 'cause it's a hell of a story" you said and helped him stand up, and the two of you headed in the living room.

The next day, Tony fixed everything he did wrong while being controlled by the Reality Stone. Everything was normal again, and the remaining pieces of the Reality Stone got under SHIELD's supervising.

It took some time until Tony was trusted again by the world, but it happened... yet, the remorse of what he did still hunts him in his nightmares...
