Sara's gonna kill me, but it'll be worth it...

I grab the mic, as Henry starts playing chords on his guitar.

"Prepare for Sara to kill you now," Henry whispers, as we walk backstage.

"Will do," I say, as I face forward to see Sara and Alex.

"Maya, what were you doing up there singing my song?!" Sara asks, as I look at her, then Alex.

"Sara, I promise it's for a good reason," I assure my best friend. 

"Whatever, Maya," Sara sighs," believe what you want.."

"But, Alex. Can I talk you?" I ask Alex, as he shrugs.

I grab his shirt collar, dragging him to the seats backstage.

"Listen, Romeo. I know we all feel awkward about us "together," I concede.

"Glad someone feels the same way," Alex scoffs.

"And we both know you like only one person," I start.
