Joohyun lay flat on her back, it was one of those nights again where she had to sleep alone as Jisung had some work out of town. He always has a photoshoot out of town once every month.

She never followed him to any one of it. Either she never had the time to, or he just simply won't let her follow. At first, Joohyun would get a little sad about it but then she thought maybe her presence would distract him in a way he felt uneasy to work with the models because of her. So, either way she had to respect his preferences.

A sigh escaped her lips as she was caught in boredom. She wasn't in the mood to complete her assignment, nor was she in the mood to revise. Sleeping was never an option as she couldn't do it even when she wanted to. At first, she wanted to stay at her parents' but then she thought of her mother and got worried she might act the same way again.

Joohyun decided to roll off her bed and walked into the kitchen. Only to her dismay, she found there was nothing to eat. She rolled her eyes at her stupid self for forgetting to go grocery shopping when Jisung literally reminded her countless times.

A quick glance at the clock showed that she still had a little time before the shop closes and so she dashed out of her house. As she walked down the streets, she realised it was pointless to go grocery shopping as she would never reach it in time. She thought to herself that she should just have this supper outside and walked down the shortcut to a nearest restaurant.

"Oh, Joohyun. I haven't seen you for quite some time." The woman greeted as she entered a local restaurant. Joohyun grinned at her as she made her order and waited. "Alone?" The woman asked and she nodded. "He has work." She replied and watched the woman leave to get her order done.

She stared outside the window, the sky was dark but the street lamps were there to light up the road. The route she used was also empty, everyone was either too busy or too lazy to go out. She glanced at the sky, despite the pitch blackness, there was a small light emitted from the moon.

A full moon.

It was so bright, so alluring. The luminous moon had just appeared today, it looked so beautiful. So welcoming. Joohyun had never gotten a good look at the moon before, but these days the only light source in the dark sky was what attracted her the most. The white light would in some way flashed colours of yellow, one she was awfully familiar with.

Every time she thought of the colour yellow, her mind would drift back to those pair of eyes she saw recently. As much as she was curious of the owner of it, she was also scared to find out. She could never tell what danger awaits—

"Here you go." Her thoughts were disrupted as her food was served on her table. She thanked the waiter and started munching down her food. By the time she was done, Joohyun realised she was the last one to leave. Sheepishly, she thanked the owner as she paid for her meal.

A long walk was what Joohyun needed to clear her mind so hopefully, she could fell asleep. As she took a turn down the route, she noticed something was off. Most probably what caught her eyes were the lack of lights.

The street was so dark. It wasn't a new route, she used this numerous times getting back from classes but that was in daylight. At nighttime, it looked eerie. Although she wanted to turn back, but it was getting a little too late and the main road would be full of drunkheads.

Joohyun used the light from her phone to lead the way as she walked down the route. Her eyes were everywhere, she had to be aware to keep herself safe. As she was close enough to leave the place, a canned drink, an empty one, rolled its way to her foot. Joohyun knew that was the sign for her to run, but a whimper made her stop.

Her heart was beating fast due to the fear of unknown, but the cry was stopping her as it sounded like a dog in pain. Joohyun pointed her phone to her left, trying to look for the source. She had to see it for herself, she might be able to save the animal and won't regret to find a dead one tomorrow.

Joohyun made a pet voices, to call the dog or cat to her. She stopped on her tracks as she heard no whimper, but then she heard it again. This time it was coming right from in front of her, and the animal sounded very much in pain. Joohyun took no time to stop and approached the direction.

Upon arriving at a spot between two buildings, she spotted nothing until the light from her phone shone on a dog, a large one. It looked surreal, almost like a wolf.

As she stepped closer, Joohyun noticed the dog wanted to run which made her stop immediately. Joohyun knew it must've been scared of her, as it was obviously hurt by someone else. And so, Joohyun placed her phone on the ground with the light facing up so she could use it to treat the dog.

Joohyun raised both of her arms, to tell she meant no harm, not that it would understand but at least she tried. She stepped closer, and the dog seemed scared as it let out another whimper. However, that didn't stop Joohyun from moving closer. The wound was evident on its leg, it was bloody and large. It was obviously hurting and Joohyun was going to treat it no matter what.

She didn't study medicine to be useless when it comes to real life. "I'm just trying to help okay, I'm a doctor." She said. Only then she made a mental note that the dog wouldn't understand. Seeing the dog not responding with any sign to fight, Joohyun rushed to its side and started examining its leg.

As she touched it, the big dog snarled, a sign it hurt. She tried using anything she had to clean its wound and bandage it. After she was done with sanitising it, she realised there was no bandage to wrap the leg. After a while thinking, she realised she was wearing a thin t-shirt under her hoodie.

Instantly, she removed her hoodie and took out her shirt, and without further waiting she wrapped the dog's leg using the cloth tightly, to stop the bleeding. Joohyun put on her hoodie as she smiled down at the large creature. Its size was intimidating, but it looked awfully cute to her.

"If I catch you again tomorrow, maybe I can give you a better bandage." Joohyun said as she reached out to pat him on the head. Surprisingly, the big creature let her. It was then she realised he had no collar which was weird as it was a very large dog, bigger than her. A unique breed like this must've been someone's.

"Take care of yourself." As she was about to leave, the dog growled. It was strange, but it made her stay and out of a sudden, its eyes started to get droopy as if it was dying which made her panic. Joohyun reached out for the dog, trying to save it although she didn't know what was wrong.

Again, fear was filling her as she didn't want it to die. However, everything became abnormal when the large dog was changing forms. Joohyun wasn't sure if her eyes were playing games, but the face of a dog was changing to a face of a boy. Only one thing remained, the yellow pair of eyes.
