"Are you coming tomorrow?"

"Yes, I'll arrive around noon."

"Okay, see you soon."

Joohyun ended the phone call with her father as she then resumed with her assignment. It was almost midnight but her mind was fully awake and it happened to be the only time where she had so many ideas to write.

She stretched her arms upward as she was getting tired but then she couldn't afford losing all these inspirations. Jisung was already asleep on the bed. He was stubborn to stay with her but after a small quarrel he finally agreed to sleep first. As she continued to type, she received a notification from on her laptop.

However, it stated from an unknown sender. Joohyun wasn't the type to open spam messages but this time she had a hunch to see the content. As she opened the message, she found some sort of poem was sent to her. At first, she thought it was sent to her by mistake but somehow she felt connected to the words.

I've bloomed with many petals,
Possessive, love, devotion
My colours more than metals,
Carved on skin is where I bloom,
For I yet mean for not one, but two.
My pick is—

The last line was somehow missing, the message was glitching. Instantly, she thought of the flower mark on her back as her hand tried to reach for it. The description was awfully similar, it was too sick to be coincidence. Her heart started to race as she felt a little scared by the message, as if someone was watching her through the lens. Immediately, she pushed the screen down and switched it off.

Everything she had thought of to write down had disappear and she decided it was time to sleep. Joohyun got on the bed as she stared at the dark ceiling for a while before her mind finally decided to shut down. She knew it wouldn't be a long sleep for her but at the moment she wanted to rest and forget what she had encountered.

As if on cue, Jisung rose from his momentary eye shut. He opened his eyes to find his girlfriend asleep right next to him. Slowly, he lifted his head from the pillows to ensure he made no noise that would wake her up.

He got off the bed and glanced at the time on the digital clock. It read exactly 3 in the morning. As he slipped on his shoes and grabbed his jacket, he glanced once more at Joohyun's sleeping figure. He made sure to put the covers on her properly before he left the room.

The streets were dark and dead, most people were asleep and indoors. He shoved both of his hands in his pockets as he walked down the streets. Luckily it wasn't cold as before as it was summer. He took his time to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere around the town. It was hard to get this kind of quietness as the youngsters were active in daylight.

He proceeded on foot as he walked down a familiar street. The place was rather very silent, almost sinister as no one lived there. It wasn't quite abandoned but there was no residency available. Plus, people rather not walk down this street as most of the crimes happen there. Interestingly for Jisung, he was fine with it.

As he made a turn into a corner, he saw light from afar. A warehouse. He was getting tired of walking and luckily he was nearing his destination. He knocked on the door a few times, waiting for someone to greet him. He had always looked forward to see his companion. Each day, it was a routine he would never get bored of.

He tapped his foot against the road as he waited and a few seconds later, the door opened. Jisung was greeted with a familiar face. Instantly, he entered the house and closed the door behind him.

"Jisung's here!" The rest greeted him as he walked towards them.

"Oh, you're early today." One of them spoke and Jisung replied with a grin. "I couldn't sleep." He lied as he wasn't sure what to reply. "What are you doing?" Jisung asked as he took a seat next to Changbin. Everyone had their eyes on the table.

"Cards, just to pass the time. Chan and Jeongin would be back any time." Changbin answered. "Woah, Jeongin is learning fast." He said as the elder male nodded his head. He threw a card on the table. A wide grin on his face because the next person would have to add more cards. Changbin was close to victory.

The other male groaned. "Damn it!" Seungmin said as he reluctantly add 4 cards to his set. The boys continued playing until a knock was heard. Jisung volunteered to get the door as the rest resumed with their game. He opened the door to be greeted with a young boy and yellow eyes.

However, that wasn't what caught his attention. The blood splattered across his lips were what he focused on. The boy grinned at him as Jisung replied with a smile. His sharp teeth were white and shinning, he was proud of what he is.
