The first thing Sophia saw as she opened her eyes was that she was in a very big room. It was too big to be her room and she knew very well that she wasn't that rich to be able to afford anything as luxurious as this. I mean there was a freaking fireplace below the biggest flat screen she has ever seen in her entire life. She looked around and for some reason, she couldn't help but look at the luscious red curtains that looked like they were made from velvet. And the bed she was laying on was twice the size of her bed back home, maybe even bigger.

"Oh, I see you're awake." Sophia's head snapped towards the source of the voice who was actually Mason exiting the bathroom with steam dramatically surrounding him like what happens in movies.

"What happened?" She asked groggily as she rubbed her head. She couldn't remember anything, not even how her body started feeling so sore. She obviously didn't remember how she got here in Mason's room, but she sadly wasn't complaining in any way.

"You got attacked by Jessica in the hallway. She looked like she was crazy enough to kill you if I haven't saved you." He reminded as he slowly approached her with a soaked towel. It jogged up some of her memories of Jessica's demon face, but a lot of parts were still very blurry.

"Saved me?" That's he part that didn't register properly with her. Mason started wiping her face with the warm towel to probably tend to the potential bruises that could form the next days or so..

"Yup. I'm betting that it had something to do with Zach." Sophia looked up to meet his eyes. They began to stare into each other's eyes before she ripped her gaze away and headed to the bathroom.

"Where are you going?" Mason yelled at her with the towel still in had. Sophia didn't bother to reply as she stared at the damage Jessica has done to her. Her body was covered in bruises of various colors. The extent of its damage to her frightened her. If they weren't bruises, she would have been all jumpy that her body looked like a rainbow, which was probably pretty childish and the thought seemed very inappropriate in a time like this.

Mason quickly entered through the doorway, but he was too late. Sophia was wailing out in rage and pain. Jessica did it; she finally broke her spirit. Her knees eventually buckled under her and would have sent her body crashing down and hitting the expensive marble floor beneath her, but Mason's arms immediately wrapped around her and saved her from falling.

Mason could only look as Sophia started sobbing in his bare arms. He didn't know what to do. No girl has ever cried like this with him. But for some reason, he knew what to do. He settled both of their bodies softly the floor as he started cradling Sophia's quivering body and leaned her against his very abre chest.

"Shh." He soothed her as he began to stroke her hair softly. It was making him uneasy inside to see her this broken. She was always happy or weird, but she was never like this and it really upset him.

"Why would she do this to me?" She cried out right before Mason would give her an answer, but she wasn't finished talking yet. "What did I ever do to her?" She growled out.

"Hey." Hearing Mason's soft and gentle voice did a good job in soothing Sophia's rage a bit.

"I don't know, but we're gonna get our revenge." He stated. "We are?" She asked whilst lifting her chin up to look if he was joking or not. She saw determination all over him and it was starting to get a little hope back in her. Mason just nodded at her.

Sophia frowned when she realized something. "How are we gonna break the Queen Bee, Mason?" She gave up and turned around, so that her back would press against his chest.

"Don't worry. I have a plan." He started getting this devious glint in his eyes, but Sophia couldn't help but smile in excitement.
