- Margaux's POV -

"Anak...intindihin mo naman ang asawa mo. He just wanted to surprise you!" ang sabi ni mommy nang makaupo na ako sa kanilang sala.

"So you knew about this?" I said. Mom sighed. "Everyone did. Ikaw lang ang hindi nakakaalam." Ang sabi niya.

I looked outside the window, to the garden and the pool. "And you didn't think about what could happen if I saw my husband laying down on a cold, steel bed, lifeless?" I hissed.

"Anak, huwag mo naman kitiran ang utak mo. Yes, what he did went overboard, but you can't blame him. He wanted the best for the best, anak. He just did not get the chance to execute it properly." dad advised.

"I don't know, dad." ang sabi ko habang naglalakad palabas ng bahay. I sat down on an outdoor chair and watched the artificial waves in the swimming pool. One of the maids brought me orange juice. Maya-maya ay naramdaman kong may tumabi sa akin. It was kuya. "May sasabihin ako sayo..." he started speaking. I looked at him to let him know that I am listening.

"Si Rico talaga ang may pakana nung kanina sa office mo..." he said. "It was part of his plan." ang dagdag niya pa.

Tumulo na naman ang mga luha sa aking mata. So...all this time, I've been reacting too much to a lot of things? Kinausap ko ang sarili ko. I reprimanded myself for being to overreacting. It must be my hormones, I thought. Oo nga.

"Yes...I get it. Should...Should I apologize?" I asked him. He messed up my hair. "Of course, minsan, sa isang relasyon, kailangang gumanap bilang the better person. Dahil...kung pride niyo lang ang paiiralin ninyo, walang mararating ang pagmamahalan ninyo." he said. I sighed.

Pumasok na ako sa bahay. I was surprised upon seeing mom, dad, ate Arianne and Al seated on the dining table. "What's this? An extension of what transpired earlier?" I joked.

"Yes. Apparently, please do take a seat." mom offered. Umiling lamang ako. "I have matters do deal with. I have to apologize to the person I love the most." I said.

Dad stood up and kissed me on the forehead. "That's more like it, princess. I'm so proud of you." ang sabi niya.

Nasa sasakyan na ako ngayon, papunta na kami sa opisina ni Rico dahil napag-alaman ko mula kay Samuel na nandoon raw siya ngayon. I called Georgina. "Hey, Georg. Daanan kita diyan sa penthouse. Let's go to Rico's office."

"Aba, aba, aba. Tama lang 'yan. Nako, dapat ikaw din ang naghahabol minsan, 'no? Hindi puro si Rico lang. Sige ka, kapag napagod 'yan, baka..." she threw me a meaningful look.

"Tumigil ka nga, Georg."

"K, sabi mo e. I'll just go get dressed. Call me if you're at the lobby na." ang sabi niya sa akin. Pinatay ko na ang tawag. I just leaned into my car door and looked outside. Medyo makulimlim ang kalangitan ngayon. The sun isn't even visible. I can also hear thunder from afar.
