"I hate that man." Y/n grumbled as she walked into the house.

"I guess you had another fight." Mary Jefferson, Y/n's younger sister, asked.

Y/n sighed as she plopped down on a seat. She ran a hand through her h/c hair and groaned. Mary shook her head at her sister.

"Why do you hate him so much?" Mary asked. She pushed some of her curly hair out of her face.

"He is literally against everything I say and do!" Y/n yelled.

"Like father like son." Thomas Jefferson said as he passed his daughters.

"Man, why can't y'all just... shut the fuck up and piss off each other's business?" Mary asked.

"Because they're Hamiltons!" Y/n and Thomas said at the same time.

"So what?!" Mary asked.

"Y/n you are now my favorite daughter." Thomas muttered.

"Thanks Da-- MARY WAS YOUR FAVORITE!?" Y/n yelled.

"Key word: was." Thomas said and poked his daughter's nose. "Now let's eat dinner. I'm starving."

Jefferson walked sassily into the kitchen. He began yelling something like "GET THE MACARONI!!" or something macaroni related.

"Dad is retarded, I swear." Mary muttered as she walked into the kitchen herself.

"I hate her." Philip grumbled as he walked into his house.

"Philip, did you seriously start another fight with Y/n?" Angelica, Philip's sister, asked.

"Nope." Philip said as he plopped on the couch next to Angie. "She did."

"Like father like daughter." Alexander Hamilton muttered as he passed his kids.

"How'd you even know about the fight?" Philip asked.

"I have my ways." Angelica said, smirking.

"Why you guys even hate each other so much? I mean they're just Jeffersons." Elizabeth said as she helped her husband take his coat off.

"That's the point, Eliza." Alex said.

Eliza sighed as she hung Alexander's coat. She shook her head as Philip and Alexander began ranting about how annoying the Jeffersons were.

"I hate macaroni!" Alexander yelled.

"I hate Y/n!" Philip yelled.

Eliza was so fed up with all this ranting she yelled, "SHUT UP OR I WILL SLAP YOU!"

Alex, Pip, and Angie just stared at her. Her face was red and fumming with anger. Everyone else in the room moved slightly away from Elizabeth.

Eliza smiled. "Now come on! Let's eat dinner!" She said as if nothing had happened.

She skipped into the kitchen with Alexander and Angelica cautiously followed her. Philip went upstairs to call his brother Alexander Junior (or AJ, as Eliza calls him).

"You made Momma mad." AJ said, pouting.

"Uh.. yeah.. Pops gets half the blame though." Philip said.

AJ crossed his arms and pouted more. "Stop talking about the Jeffersons. It's getting annoying." He said.

"I guess." Philip said.

AJ sighed. "Why can't you just be friends? You both are in college, you both are smart people, both have crazy fathers. I think you two can be great friends." He said with hope in his eyes.

"I'll see what I can do." Philip said. "But I'm not making any promises."

"As long as Momma stops getting mad, it's fine." Alexander said and hopped on Philip's back. "Now carry me to the kitchen."

Philip chuckled and gave his little brother a piggy back ride down to the kitchen.

It was the next day and Angie andd Philip were out shopping. Angelica excitedly walked into a tailor shop and looked through some dresses.

"Angie, can you hurry up?" Philip groaned.

"These things take time, Philip." Angelica said as she picked up a yellow dress. "Hm... not my color."

"Hurry up!" Philip said.

"Just wait!" Angie snapped.

They were at the tailor's shop for hours when two people walked inside the store. Philip and Angie paid them no attention... until he heard her voice.

"So Theo, what are you getting? What color? Can we leave?" Y/n asked.

Philip turned to see the one and only Y/n Jefferson with another woman. He felt his cheeks heat up as the two girls passed him, competely ignoring him. The other woman she was with has got him helpless.

"A dress. Green. And no, we can't leave yet." The girl said.

"Come on, Theodosia!" Y/n whinned.

"Y/n, we just got here." Theo said.

"And we--"

"Hello, beautiful... and Jefferson." Philip as he walked in between the girls.

"Hey. That was offensive." Y/n said and crossed her arms.

"It was meant to offend you." Philip said and rolled his eyes.

"Whatever, Hamilton." Y/n huffed.

"So this is the Hamilton you were talking about Y/n." The girl said.

"All good things?" Philip asked.

"Barely." Y/n muttered, earning a glare from Philip.

"Philip Hamilton." He said and kissed the girl's knuckles.

"Theodosia Burr." The girl answered.

"Lovely name for a lovely lady." Philip said, making Theo blush.

She giggled. "Thank you, sir." She said.

"Please, call me Philip." He said.

"You mean the devil." Y/n muttered.

Philip glared at her again. "Anyway, what are you doing here?" Philip asked Theodosia.

"Oh, just buying a dress but I can't seem to find the right one." Theo said.

"Well, I think youd look beautiful in anything you pick." Philip said.

"This is getting disgusting." Y/n said. "I'm leaving."

She turned and walked out of the store. Something built up inside her. She knew very well what it was.

Jealousy.
