Never content

 A tiny square window

That displayed the world outside

 A place once familiar

With doors that opened wide

With the sun that blazed fire

A big red contusion

And a moon so round

It ignited a wolf’s infatuation

A world so big and full

Enriched will countless opportunities

The people sang and danced

And loved each other fully

All it took was one simple blight

To shatter fragile propensity

Where did it all go wrong?

Before they plunged into unfamiliarity

The once joyful music turned sour

The wolf now cries in pain

The people sentenced to early graves

Wished they could go back again

The pitfall of the human race

Never content and hell-bent on destruction

Destroying everything in its path

While witnessing happiness’ abduction

Wow, I don’t know how the poem took a massive turn down south – especially since I was trying to write something positive for once.

But please, feel free to vote and comment as always. Always need some fuel to burn :)

PS - Is the spacing working for you guys? When I type up my poem I include spaces but when I publish it no gaps appear...anyone know how to fix it? It's extremly irritating!

Nonetheless, hope y'all liked it.

Rock on!
