Goodbye

It’s time to go

It’s time to leave -

Time to put aside

Everything that could be

The future has changed

The present is scarred

But the past will stay the same

 When you part

Oh hush little darling

No need to be upset

Stop crying those tears

There will be no debt

It will take some time

For you to adjust

But you will move on

Just have a little trust

Of course I will miss you

And your cheeky little smile

But even I have to move on

After a little while

When you feel lonely

Just look at the stars

They will watch you

And guard you from harm

Not a day will go by

When I won’t think of you

So stop feeling so down

Stop feeling so blue

So, fly away little bird

At last you are free

But it hurts a little to know

That you won’t be with me.
