What is real and what is not?
These two worlds blend together
And I soon forgot
What is real and what is a dream?
I’m trapped in my mind
And all I can do is scream
What is real and what is fake?
A fine thin line in between -
That’s not hard to mistake
What is real and what is hallucination?
It’s hard to interpret -
The figure in my imagination
What is real and what is illusion?
A very red plastic rose –
Leaves me in more confusion
What is real and what is fiction?
Desperation strikes -
Causing a harmful affliction
What is real and what are we?
I’m counting on your existence –
To set me free
What is real and what do I feel?
It can’t possibly be love -
But my emotions did it steal
What is real and what is not?
The conclusion is clear -
What is real is what we’ve got.
