Chapter Twenty Three- " teenage daydream "

" hey i'm going out " I said.
" to where? " Cole asked.
" Ottawa " I smiled.
" again really, when are you going to tell me what your doing? " he asked.
" i'm really surprised you haven't figured it out yet, but I still can't tell you " I smiled and ran out the door to the car to pick up Judy and Chance.
Judy hopped into the front seat beside me.
" I feel like we haven't been to the recording studio in a long time " Judy said.
" same, but it hasn't been that long, i'm just glad to be back and maybe it's snowing there " I said as I backed out of her driveway.
" not this again " she sighed.
" what you know I just love snow " I said.
" don't worry I know " I said.
We pulled into Chance's driveway.
" yes, but it's snow it's fluffy and amazing and just all around.... Snow! ".
" what about snow? " Chance ask as he got in the car.
" Beth her has some weird obsession with snow " Judy said.
" it's not an obsession, I just, really, like it " I said.
" well luckily for you there I snow in Ottawa " Chance said.
" ah ha! " I smiled.
" why'd you tell her that " Judy sighed.
For half of the car ride I was talking about snow and what you could to with it. As a kid Cole and I used to make snow hotels in our front yard, but that was short lived.
" ok stop talking about snow please " Judy said.
" i'm stopping don't worry, I got all my snow talk out " I smiled.
" good " Chance said.
" I was falling asleep " he added.
" wow i'm hurt " I put my hand up to my heart, we all broke out into laughter.

Once we got into Ottawa I pulled over by the park.
" what are you doing? " Judy asked.
" we are stopping to play in the snow " I smiled.
They all got out of the car, " I am going to show you that snow it fun to play in " I smiled.
" we know it's fun " Chance said.
" do you really " I smirked and picked up a snowball and through it at him.
" ok now it's on " he said.
I through some snow a Judy.
" come on, no i'm not doing this " Judy said.
" yes you are " Chance said throwing another snowball at her, hitting her right in the face.
" ok that's it! " she yelled.
Soon all of us were throwing snowballs at one another.

We got back in the car.
" ok I have to admit that was fun " Judy said.
" see, look what I told you " I smiled.
" can we just get to my uncles now? " Chance asked.
" indeed " I smiled, I started the car and drove the Ricks house.
We got inside the house.
" hey kids, i'm just about to run down stairs to take a call, but get food to eat get comfy then will go and get the song recorded " Rick smiled running down the stairs.
I sat down on the couch with Chance sitting beside me, he turned on the tv.
" so how are you and Brendon? " he asked.
" were good " I smiled.
" your blushing " he said.
" no " I said covering my checks with my hands.
" so I know you too have kissed has anything- ".
" stop right there, we've only kissed, hugged and held hands, nothing else so don't even go there " I said.
" ok sorry " he said putting his hands up in surrender.
" I got water " Judy said walking over to sit down beside me.
Rick came up the stairs, " we can record the song now " he said running back down.
" right when I sit down " Judy sighed.

I got into the booth and put on the head phones.
" good to go " Rick said.
" god save the prom queen, teenage daydream, just another dressed up heartbreak " I sang.
I stayed in the booth.
" ok can we try and record another song today? " Rick asked.
I came out from the booth, " I can if Judy makes another beat " I said.
" I actually have one beat I made a long time ago, but never did anything with it " she said.
" go get it " Rick said, Judy ran up to the house and came back down with her computer.
" it's to the song, hotter than hell " she said.
" oh i've listen to that song before " Chance said, we all looked at him.
" what? I can like whatever music I want to like " he said.
I looked over the lyrics before going back into the booth.
" ready? " Rick asked, I nodded and he started to play the track.
" he calls me the devil, I'll make you wanna sin, everytime I knock he can never let me in " I sang.
" can you feel the warmth, yeah, cus my kiss goes down you like some sweet alcohol " I sang.
" cuz i'm hot like hell, so burn with another " I sang.

I walked out of the booth, " great, i'll edit them then upload, you all can go up stairs and watch tv i'll be right up to make dinner " Rick said.
" cool " Chance said.
We walked back up the stairs.
I sat back down on the couch.

Brendon- hey how's the recording going?
Bethy- we just wrapped up

" who are you texting? " Judy asked.
" Brendon " I said.
" like always " she mumbled.
" what's that supposed to mean? " I asked.
" nothing I was just stating the obvious you're always texting Brendon " she smiled.
" ok " I said looking back down at my phone.
Ever since I started dating Brendon Judy has been acting weird it was like she didn't approve of me dating him.

Brendon- that's great, but when will you be back, I miss you
Bethy- I miss you too, i'll be back later tomorrow night, but will hangout on Monday
Bethy- no wait Judy and I are hangout then so maybe Wednesday since I have to work Tuesday
Brendon- sounds good to me
Bethy- ok well I have to get going dinners being made
Brendon- ok bye
Bethy- bye

I set my phone back down.
We all walked into the kitchen to help get dinner ready, we sat down.
" so Bethany, Chance tells me you have a boyfriend " Rick started.
" did he now? " I glared at him.
" what I couldn't hold it in ".
" please don't hit me with snow " he hid his face.
" I don't think there is snow inside so I will later " I smiled.
Gosh Chance could be annoying sometimes, but I guess that's just his personality.
