Cabir just shrugged but all this while manik sat there silently.
Dhruv: buddy whats wrong? Tu itna chupchap kyu baitha hai?
Cabir: are dhruv jab majnu ko apni laila se dur jana pad raha hai toh fir voh chupchap hi baithega na....samjha kar yaar
Manik: Cabir please spare me! And dhruv aisa kuch nahi hai, its...its just ki nandini is getting some bad intuition ki kuch bura hone wala hai and that is making her all restless. Vaise toh I somehow calmed her down lekin I know for a fact ki voh stress lena nahi chodegi and that can affect her health so I am just worried
He justified his silence.
Alia: manik relax...waha par navya, Abhi aur baaki sab bhi toh hai na...they will take care of her so tum itna tension mat lo ok?
Manik just nodded faintly.
Their journey ended and soon they were standing outside soha's farmhouse, unloading their luggage when soha's shrill voice pierced their ears.
Cabir*murmurs*: here comes firangi chipkali
The rest giggled at his comment.
Soha: hey guys I hope you had no problem in reaching here
Alia*fake smile*: nope...not at all soha
Soha smiled and began hugging them as a welcoming gesture which they returned rather awkwardly but as she was about to hug manik, he stopped her.
Manik: uh soha I am really tired actually so please show us our rooms
Soha*fake smile*: sure...come Nupur Aunty (caretaker) will show you the rooms
Fab 5 thanked her and dispersed in their rooms as soha stood there fuming.
Soha: mujhse jitna bhagna hai bhaglo manik but at the end of the day you'll come to me only baby cuz tonight I will make you mine and that behenji nandini won't be able to do anything
She smirked thinking about her plan for the night.
An hour passed by and fab 5 freshened up and met outside to begin their practice before they actually record their final scratch which went pretty good and then decided to take a break and record the songs after having some snacks. Once they were back after their little snack break, they proceeded towards the recording room in the farmhouse.
Manik: guys ready? So on the count of three...one...two...three...
They began playing their instruments when there was a sudden interruption by mukti.
Alia: whats wrong mukti?
Mukti: I don't know babe...my guitar just stopped working...I guess there's some problem
She said examining her guitar.
Manik: mukti tu apna spare guitar laayi hai?
Mukti: nahi yaar....I didn't think it was needed kyuki yaha aane se pehle I checked this guitar...it was all fine but I don't know ki yeh achanak kya ho gaya Soha smirked at that.
She was really on something...
Manik: aah! Soha I guess we will have to reschedule the recording for tomorrow now cuz we have got a little problem in here
He groaned, annoyance clear in his tone which soha failed to understand.
Soha: sure manik...not a problem. You guys can go have dinner and then rest...we can do this tomorrow even
She replied extra sweetly which didn't go really well but they decided to ignore it for a while.
Fab 5 and soha had their dinner and were now resting in their rooms when manik heard a knock on his door to find soha standing there with a bottle of red wine and two glasses wearing an overly exposing nightwear.
Manik: what are you doing here?
Soha: oh manik now that's rude...let me enter in at least
Saying so she pushed him aside abd entered in which only angered manik.
Manik: hey wait soha! Look I am really tired and want to rest so please excuse me
Soha: and that's why I am here to relax you (roaming her hand on his chest) see I got you wine too
Manik*freeing himself from soha*: look soha I am not in mood to have wine so please leave....I need to sleep
Soha: come on manik one glass will cause no harm...please
She tried acting all seductive which made manik cringe internally.
Manik: soha I really don't feel like
Soha: please manik...for me
She spoke huskily stepping near him.
Having found no way out to make soha leave his room, he agreed and soha smirked.
Soha*self talk*: now's the real fun manik. You will have this wine which I specially spiked for you and then you will be mine
She thought happily to herself but her happiness didn't last long as Manik got a call from nandini and he completely forgot about the wine which didn't go well with soha so she started forcing manik to have the wine which in turn led the glass to slip from Manik's hand and spill all over.
Manik: I think you should leave now soha..I am really tired so (fakes a smile) good night!
Saying so he literally pushed soha out of his room and locked his room heaving a sigh of relief when he heard someone speaking from his phone.
Nandini was still on line.
Phone Convo
Nandini: manik yeh kya ho raha tha waha?
Manik: Kya? Nothing....kuch bhi toh nahi
Nandini*sternly*: manik
Manik: fine! Voh actually soha got me some wine and she was forcing me to have it but I somehow managed to get her out of my room so yeah...now its all sorted
Nandini: that soha! Manik I told you na...we can't trust her intentions
Manik: yeah she is damn weird man! Hey by the way I wanted to tell you that we will have to stay here for another day because mukti's guitar broke and it will take a day at least to fix it since we cannot record our songs without an electronic guitar so yeah....
Nandini*sadly*: another whole day with soha!
Manik: no another 24 hours to be with you
And that definitely bought a smile on nandini's face. They continued talking and soon sleep took over them as the long day came to an end.
