"Shh baby, Daddy's here... Daddy's here... Daddy will always be here." He mumbled, still half asleep as he kept trying to calm his little girl down.

He didn't know what was wrong at the moment, she wouldn't stop crying. It has been almost 3 days in a row she was screaming and he didn't know what to do. He had done everything his aunt told him to do and one day he just broke down, from the stress the lack of sleep and from the feeling of being a bad father.

"Joe what's wrong honey?" his Aunt Olivia asked him, seeing him crying in his room.

"I'm a horrible father, without Abby I don't know what to do!"

"Samantha has been screaming so much... I don't know what's wrong, I miss Abby soooo much, I don't know where to search for her anymore, nobody knows anything I can't reach her phone and why isn't she calling me?"

"Did she just go along with this?"

"How on earth do I know if I am doing everything right with Samantha?" He glanced up at his Aunt, she gave him a sad smile and got on her knees to hug him.

"Oh baby... there is no need to cry, you are being a good father, I know it's not easy without Abby but you don't have to worry... I know what is wrong with Samantha.. and it is totally normal."

"What is it?" He asked confused.

"For one thing I think she misses Abby  and Skylar and second of all she is getting her first tooth Joe."

"What?"

"It can't be she's just 7 months old." He shook his head.

"Sweetie, a lot of babies get their tooth's around this age, believe me it's normal." He sighed.

"Abby not being here doesn't help a lot then."

"Don't worry." She kissed his head and walked out of his room while Joe went to look after his daughter.

She smiled up at him as he picked her up.

"Hey baby girl." He mumbled and kissed her head.

"You miss your mommy and sister too, don't you?"

It was the December 12th, a special day for Joe and Abby. The first birthday of the twins. It had been a whole year and still they haven't seen or heard from each other in 5 months. When Abby found out she was suddenly living in England, she freaked out. She couldn't leave this freaking country, she didn't have the money to leave home so she had no choice to stay with her parents, but she had finally turned 17, only one more year and she would be gone.

She despised her parents, well only her mother but she still couldn't stand both of them. She was sure Joe wouldn't have left her but how would she know? She had no chance to call him and she couldn't just go there.

Once she had almost gotten the chance to call him but her mother noticed. She was living in a prison, only looking after her beautiful daughter and going to school. She had no friends and was pretty much lonely. The only thing that kept her going was her daughter. Sky was a hyper child, she got excited at just about everything and she was always happy. Abby always wondered if Joe took good care of Samantha, she missed her. She missed her so much and she wondered if she was like Skylar.

Joe had mostly given up on ever seeing Abby ever again, she was gone and he had no idea where they went, he wanted answers so bad.

When he got up this morning he stumbled over into the purple painted room and laughed at the little one year old standing totally awake in her crib, holding onto her favorite teddy bear.
