The whole week Dahlia had been avoiding me. I knew I messed up and I wanted to fix things. Everything I said to her at Prom was still in my head and I couldn't get it out. I needed a drastic change. Something that would show her that I really was sorry and that I would never treat her like that again. I mean, we weren't together. We were still getting to know each other but I didn't want that to stop. I wanted to eventually be with her. She had changed my life already without even realizing it. I know people would probably call me dramatic but I don't care. I liked Dahlia. I grew to really like her and it sucked that I just had to be a dick and push her away.

I walked down the hallway and saw Dahlia at her locker. Maybe she'd talk to me now. I walked over and stood next to her. "Hey. Can we talk?" I asked.

"Nope." she said. "I don't even know why you keep trying."

"Because I screwed up and I wanna fix it." I told her.

"Well you can't. You should have thought about that before you invited me to prom and turned into a dick." she said closing her locker. "There's nothing left to say Justin. I don't want to get to know you and it's pretty clear that everything you showed me was a lie."

"No. It wasn't."

"Yeah? How do I know that?" she asked before walking away. I hit my head against the locker and then walked to class. This was one of the worst days on my life.

I was sitting in the cafeteria eating lunch with the guys. I could see Dahlia at her table from where I was at. She looked really upset. It was like we had just broke up or something. It showed how much we both were attracted to each other. She was an extra ordinary girl and I would be stupid to let her get away.
