My Beautiful Disaster (Completed)

Chapter 8

Authors note: Hey guys sorry if I don't know much about what happened to her mom. I just don't know much about it! Hope you guys enjoy the story!:)

I was sitting in the hospital waiting to find out news about my mom. After they had taken her in the ambulance an officer took me to the hospital so I could wait. I called my dad and told him that my mom was in the hospital and he said he would be right over.

I waited for a bit then he finally showed. He stood there for a bit looking at me then he gave me a big hug. I couldn't help but cry again. I cried into his shoulder. "Hows your mother?" He asked me looking concerned and a little scared.

"The doctors haven't said anything yet." My voice sounded a little shaky. We sat down on the couch waiting to hear news about my mom. We saw the doctor come out through the door and we both stood on our feet. "Is my mom okay?"

"Yes she's fine. She only had low blood pressure and she going to be okay. It was nothing bad."

"Thank god! When will she be able to go home?" My dad said hugging me.

"She'll be able to go home later night."

"Can we see her?"

"Yes, she's in room 221." We said thank you then went off to the room to see her. When we got to her room I took a breath and we both walked in. My mom lay in the hospital bed with wires everywhere. Some where on her nose and others on her arms. I walked up to her side. I held her hand in mine.

"Mommy, how are you feeling?"

"I'm feeling better sweetie. I'm sorry if I scared you."

"It's okay mommy as long as your alright now. That's all that matters."

We had to wait for a little bit more than the doctor said she could leave. It was already 12 A.M. How was I suppose to go to school tomorrow if I have to wake up early, I thought. My dad helped my mom get into bed then I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth.

I was really tired. My eyes were red and puffy from all that crying. I was starting to get dark spots under my eyes. I quickly brushed my teeth and crashed out on the bed without changing into my pajamas.

I woke up the next day at 5:30. I got dressed and went downstairs. I saw my mom in the kitchen. "Hey mom. You didn't go to work?"

"No I thought of staying home today and just resting. Your dad dropped off some donuts if you want some." I grabbed a donut that had chocolate icing and sprinkles on it. This is going to make me fat, I thought. "So have you met any boys yet?" My mom asked while drinking a glass of orange juice.

I bit into the soft dough of the donut before answering. "Maybe.." I said and couldn't help but smile. I always used to tell my mom these things. She was always cool with and sometimes gave me advice on how to get them to be mine.

"Come on tell me who's the special guy."

"Okay. His name is Devon and he's new here."

"Have you talked to him?"

"Yes and he's hugged me too!" It felt like a long time when that happened but that was just yesterday.

"Do you know where he lives?" She asked taking a piece of my doughnut.

I laughed, "No I'm not that much of a stalker!"

"Well you need to find out!" She said with a wink. I loved my mom she wasn't like other moms who would start freaking out when they found out you liked a boy.

After we were done talking I went upstairs. I decided to put on some eyeliner to bring my eyes out a little. After I was done I looked at myself in the mirror and decided to put eye shadow on too.

When I was done I went downstairs and said bye to my mom. Then I started walking to the bus stop. I saw Karla standing under a tree. I practically ran to her. "Hi!"

"Hi! You seem really happy today!" She laughed. I told her everything that happened yesterday on the way to school.

When we got to school we saw Tobbe and Devon talking. Karla ran to Tobbe and almost tripped on the way. I laughed and tried covering my laugh with a cough. She jumped into his arms and wrapped her legs around his waist. He held her and they started kissing.

I turned toward Devon and he was watching them intently. I couldn't help but laugh. He looked funny just staring at them. He quickly turned around and blushed a little. "Are they that interesting?" I asked him with a laugh.

"Sometimes.." He said. Then we both burst out laughing. We looked at Tobbe and Karla and they were looking at us. That just made us laugh more!

"Hey what's so funny?" Karla asked.

"Nothing!" We both said in unison. Karla made a face then continued kissing Tobbe again. This time Devon and I both turned to look at each other instead of staring at Karla and Tobbe.

We were both looking into each others eyes. We smiled at each other. "I need to ask you something." Devon said.

"Okay what is it?" I asked. He all of the sudden looked serious but he looked so cute!

He took a breath and held my hand in his. I was starting to feel nervous with what he was going to ask me.
