"So you all lived in a center? what kind?" Yoongi stares at me as i fold their blankets, watching me from the couch. Everyone but him, Jin, and Hobi were off cleaning.
"Well, we've been there for as long as we can remember. But it wasn't a good place." Jin answers and i nod, wondering if this was the place that made them into what they are.
"So Tae told me a few things about hybrids, but honestly he seems to be one of the calmest mixes. Is there anything i should be wary of? I mean i assume you guys will be here for a while..." Hobi's face turns red and i raise a brow, sitting cross legged in front of him as i finish.
"Well...we eat a lot....and some of us don't have the best temper..." I watch as he fidgets, looking to the other two for help. I already knew those things so i just nod, waiting for him to continue.
"Well..." Jin begins but he also looks a bit embarrassed. "There's a time for each of us when....well....our senses are heightened..." He clears his throat and scratches his neck.
"We get super horny. and possessive." I choke on the water i'm drinking, and i have to run to the kitchen to spit it out. When i've stopped coughing up my lungs i head back with my head down, sitting in the same spot.
I feel way awkward, but i pretend to be nonchalant as Yoongi watches me with amused eyes.
"Okay, well i'm glad i know."
"It's called a heat. I'm surprised Tae didn't warn you." I shrug, looking away as my cheeks flush.
"Well....Tae and i didn't plan on staying together long...." I pick at the carpet and glance up at Jin, who looks down at me sadly.
"Are you gonna take him away?" I choke on my words near the end as emotions build up in my chest. I don't wanna lose my best friend.
"Well....honestly we had planned to but..." Jin looks away guiltily and i hear footsteps. Namjoon sits next to me on the floor, patting my shoulder softly.
"Honestly it's safe here Mari. Tae is safe...and if you don't mind we'd like to stay....at least for a while." Relief floods my chest and suddenly the tears overflow onto my cheeks. I nod quickly, trying to wipe the tears away.
Ever since last night all i could think about was them taking Tae. I can't make him stay...but i didn't want to be alone.
