The Strings Attached

"Are you almost ready Alexa?" Harrison banged on the bathroom door as I was getting my makeup on.

I apply the last bit of my mascara on and I sigh. "Yeah give me ten seconds Haz!" I shout back, and put all my makeup away.

It was the night of the premier and we all had a limo to catch there. I was wearing a blue, lacy dress. It went down to my knees and was short sleeved. I had a pearl bracelet on and my hair was done in a side braid. I had blue heels and neutral makeup in.

I open the door and step out to see Harrison looking me up and down in shock. "Y-you look amazing." He stutters which makes me laugh.

"You don't look to bad yourself." I smirk and loop my arm around his. "Let's go see that movie." I chuckle and we meet everyone down in the lobby.

Everyone looked so good and I was honestly so excited for this premier. The ride wasn't that long, but as soon as we stopped and opened the door, everyone was screaming and snapping photos.

I could see a bunch of the major actors walking down the carpet, posing for photos and talking to reporters. I struggled to find Tom in the swarm of everyone. Finally, I do spot him.

"Tom! Hey Tom!" I yell over everyone, waving him over. He notices me and comes dashing over.

"There you guys are! You all look awesome!" Tom says and pulls me into a hug. "Alexa, you want to come take some photos with me?"

"Sure!" I smile and Tom leads me to the carpet where a dozen reporters follow us.

We pose for some photos and I do enjoy the attention that I'm getting. Tom then leaves to see the rest of the family and a reporter comes up behind me.

"And here we have Alexa Holland, Tom Holland's twin sister and world famous author." The reporter says. "So Alexa, how do you think this movie is going to go?" She asks.

"I think it's going to be pretty awesome, considering what happened in the last movie. I'm very excited to see how they tied it together." I smile at the reporter.

"Do you know anything on what we could expect from this movie?" She asks and points the mic back at me.

"Nothing worth sharing. Pratt showed me a few minor things a few months ago when they finished most of the editing." I shrug.

"Eyyy I heard my name." Someone says behind me and I turn to see Chris nodding at the camera and coming up to me. "How's my best friend doing?" He says in a kiddish way as he pulls me in for a hug.

"I'm doing fine." I laugh and look back at the reporter.

"Where did you two meet and become friends?" She asks, her eyes lighting up as she asks the question.

"Well Alexa was on set with her brother while filming Infinity Wars. I'm not going to lie but I was a huge fan of her book so when I say her, I fangirled." Chris says with a devilish smile and I laugh.

"Yeah he came up to me and asked about the second book, and I talked to him and inside I'm like holy shit holy shit it's Chris Pratt!" I laugh.

"Yeah, she sent be a copy of her second book early and yeah, we just it became friends. We talk a lot." Chris says.

"Yeah, we do." I nod in agreement. "Always about Marvel or books. We just talk." I laugh and this makes Chris and the reporter laugh.

"Well that's awesome. I hope you both enjoy the movie." She smiles and walks off.

Chris and I go and take some photos before Chris goes to join the Guardians cast. I make my way back to Haz and link my arm through his.

"You had an interview with Pratt?" Harrison asks, looking down at me and raising an eyebrow.

"Yes I did. Get over the fact I have a friend." I say and roll my eyes, and Harrison just laugh.

"But it's Chris Pratt." Harrison says in a funny way, and he points at Chris who's taking photos.

"But it's Chris Pratt." I mimic him. "Get over yourself Harrison."

Harrison looked at me like he was about to say something but his eyes focused on something behind him. His mouth fell open and I turned around to look. My mouth fell open too to see Tom with a girl, holding hands, and talking.

Oh but not just any girl, it WAS Zendaya.

"THOMAS STANLY HOLLAND!" I shout at him, which makes him and a few people look. I stomp my foot down to show him I want him to come over to me.

He walks over to me with a guilty grin on his face. "H-hey Alexa. You good?" He asks and I glair at him.

"I KNEW IT!" I snarl at him. "I knew you were dating someone." I give Tom an evil grin and Harrison rolls his eyes.

"You never told me you were dating Harrison." Tom smirks and I burry my eyebrows at him.

I sigh and give him a warm smile. "Well then, go make your girlfriend happy. This is your night." I say.

Tom grins a thank you and goes over to Zendaya and kisses her in front of everyone. Everyone starts to cheer and pull their phones out.

Harrison and I stay back and laugh as we watch this. "See, what did I tell you." I say and look up at Harrison.

"Yes Alexa, you were right." Harrison sigh. "He looks happy, doesn't he?"

"Yeah, he totally does." I say, and start thinking back to the beginning of our relationship. "We were like that once. A new couple that everyone swood over. I'm happy Tom found someone that makes him happy."

"Me too. He really did need that in his life. Now we can all go on double dates!" Harrison says excitedly and I laugh.

"When was the last time we went on a date Harrison?" I raise and eyebrow and look at him.

"You have a point." Harrison shrugs. "But we're happy too. That's all that matters."

I smile at him and lightly kiss him before they call everyone to come in. I take Harrison's arm and we walk into the theatre to see the Avengers team up one last time.
