"Your stupid if you fall for him again." Her best friend said.
With a sigh, she replied. "Yeah. I know."
Ever since the kiss, Harrison and I have barley talked. It was only two days ago but still, the mans acting all awkward. It was just a kiss, was it?
"You two have been awfully quiet." Tom says to us in between takes.
Harrison and I just glance at each other before looking straight ahead again at Tom. I cross my arms and lean back on my feet. We watch Tom do a few takes on a scene with Jacob.
"You guys can break for lunch." Jon says and walks away.
Tom walks towards us and Harrison pats him on the back. They make small talk and I stand off to the side a bit.
"Alexa, did you hear me?" Tom asks, waving his hand in front of my face.
"What?" I say, confused since I was zoned out for a moment.
"Do you wanna grab lunch with us?" Tom crosses his arms and this is how you can tell we are twins.
"Sure." I shrug and kind of just follow behind the group of people when we walk towards the vehicle.
Tom, Harrison, Jacob, Zendaya, Laura and I all cram into a van. Tom and Jacob are up front, the girls are in the middle and Harrison and I got stuck in the back together.
I don't talk much with them, I mainly look out the window and enjoy the scenery.
Just then, Harrison starts to talk which knocks me out of my daze. "You okay Alexa?" He asks, looking a bit concerned.
"Yeah I'm fine." I reply, trying not to make eye contact.
We go the rest of the ride in silence. Of course the front of the vehicle are talking up a storm. We finally get to this burger place in downtown Atlanta. We all pile out of the vehicle and make our way in. It's not that crowded but it's still pretty busy.
To avoid publicity we sit in a booth at the very back of the restaurant. Harrison, Zendaya and I end up on one side of the booth then Tom, Jacob and Laura on the other. We order then start a conversation.
"So, Alexa, your writing another book?" Jacob asks and takes a sip of his drink.
I place the menu down and nod. "Yeah, it's still a work in progress I guess, but I have a main plot idea so I'm good on that."
"The first one was amazing!" Tom says and smiles. "By far the best book ever."
I roll my eyes and let myself laugh. "It's not the best book ever Tom. You don't have to say that."
Harrison shrugs and nods his head a bit from my side. "It was a pretty good book actually, Alexa."
This shocks me a bit when he says this. I turn my head to my left to face him. He smiles and I look at his eyes for a millisecond, and once again there's that click feeling.
We get through lunch without any crazy fan girls this time. We hurry back to set since Tom has to go right back to filming. Harrison and I have some time off, so we chill at the house for the afternoon.
I'm lying in the couch, with me feet in the air when Harrison comes walking from down the hall. "Can I talk to you Alexa?"
I let my feet down and sit up straight. "I guess. Are you okay?" I ask, concerned.
Harrison takes a seat at the opposite end of the couch from me. "I just, I want to talk about the kiss." Harrison avoids eye contact.
I can feel my cheeks burning up a bit and my stomach getting a funny feeling. "W-what about it?" I ask, stuttering on my first word. Gosh, so much like Tom.
"Well, what do you think it meant?" Harrison asks, this time looking directly at it.
I shrug my shoulders. "It was just a kiss I guess."
"I see..." Harrison trails off.
"Why? Did you want it to be something more?" I ask, scooting a bit closer to Harrison.
Harrison doesn't say anything. He shakes his head and opens his mouth to speak but nothing comes out. Like it's an instant reaction, I scoot up right next to him, and place my hand on his cheek.
He looks at me directly in the eye, and twitches his mouth. I lean in without thinking, and let our lips interlock again. I move my hands to the back of his neck to pull him closer, and he grabs my by the waist and hoists me up on this lap. I wrap my legs around him, trying to get closer and closer.
Soon, it's a full on make out session. Harrison leans forward, making me fall back into the couch. With that he's on top of me, and we're still kissing.
A few minutes later, Harrison picks me up and carries me to his room. He closes the door and presses me against the wall.
"Alexa, I-" He begins to say but I cut him off.
"Shut up and kiss me Harrison." I say, grabbing the collar of his shirt and pulling him in.
Harrison places a hand on my stomach, making me cave under him. He grabs the bottoms of my shirt and lifts it over my head. Then, he takes off his own.
He pushes me into the bed and we continue to kiss. It's like my brain is in auto pilot and I have no control what so ever.
Then, the auto pilot gets shut off. Without thinking, I push Harrison off and stand up.
"No, I-I can't do this."'I stutter and brush my hands through my hair. "Your my brothers best friend, and I'm his sister."
"We could make it work Alexa, you know we can." Harrison says and places his hands on both my arms.
I take a step back and shake my head. "No, we can't. I'm his sister. Even though I'm the older twin, I'm his baby sister." I start walking backwards towards the door.
"We don't have to tell Tom, you know."
Harrison tries to say.
I clench my eyes shut and shake my head. "He's your best friend, he would find out. And, and I can't risk that." I say and pick up my shirt. "Tom would get so mad."
"He would under stand!"
"I'm sorry Harrison."
I open the door and dash down the hall to my room. I close the door and lick it, sliding down to the floor. I hold onto my knees, and take some deep breaths.
What have I done.
